SUMMER HOLIDAYS .
THE Great Western Railway Company announce that on Saturday next , 8 th inst ., the first of the weekly Excursions to Weston-super-Mare , Bridgwater , Taunton , Minchcad , Barnstaple , Ilfracombe , Exeter , Dawlish , Teignmouth , Torquay , Dartmouth , Plymouth , Falmouth , Penzance , Swindon , Bath , Bristol , Frome , Yeovil , Dorchester , Weymouth , Ac , will leave Paddington Station . Return tickets will be also issued on Saturdays to Guernsey and Jersey at 24 s Gd , available by the Boat Express leaving Paddington at
9-15 p . m . In July last year the Great Western Railway Company set the example of running weekly excursions to Aberystwith , Barmouth , Rhyl , Llandudno , Bangor , Carnarvon , Llanberis ( for Snowdon ) . and other resorts in North Wales , and the popularity of these trains by the Great Western picturesque route was so great that it has this year been decided to run
weekly excursions to this district every Saturday from the present time until the end of September . A special express excursion train will leave Paddington eacli Saturday at 8-10 a . m ., and the cheap tickets will be available for return on the following Monday , Saturday , Monday week , Saturday week , or Monday fortnight .

PANMURE LODGE , No . 720 . THE installation of Bro . George R . Nott as Worshipful Master of this Lodge took place on the 20 th ult ., at the Balham Hotel , Balham . The ceremony of installation was most ably performed by Bro . George Allen P . nj . Aftor the ceremonv tho Brethren sat down to a recherche bannnot
provided by the host , Bro . George Huntley , which gave great satisfaction ' . During the evening some first-class songs were given . Bro . George S . Graham P . P . Grand Organist gave one of his celebrated whistling solos , with pianoforte accompaniment , " II Barcio " ( Arditti ) .
Great regret was expressed on account of tho absence of Bro . Geo . Mulloy I . P . M . through the illness of his daughter , and every good wish was given for her recovery .
KENSINGTON LODGE , No . 1767 . A LARGE number of Brethren were present at tho Royal Palace Hotel , Kensiugton , on Saturday , 18 th ult ., on the occasion of the first meeting of this Lodge at this Hotel . Bro . W . B . Neville W . M . was well supported b y Officers and members .
There was plenty of work to exercise the business qualities of the W . M ., there being two raisings , one passing , and one initiation ; besides which several Brethren were balloted for as Joining Members . The whole of the . work was carried through in a perfect and workmanlike manner , all the Officers being quite equal to the occasion .
Bro . J . H . Neville was elected W . M . for the ensuing year , Bro . Barker re-elected Treasurer , and a Past Master ' s jewel was unanimously voted the retiring W . M . At the conclusion of the business an adjournment was made to the dining
room , where , after a substantial repast , tho usual Loyal and Masonic toasts wore given and honoured , amongst those responding on behalf of the Visitors , says . the " Kensington News , '' being Bros . Chandler , Walters , R . H . Williams , Mackay , Cox , Bolt , Taylor , Rev . Chambers , and Major Ackham .
The Lodge stands adjourned till the first week in September , and it is „ hoped the Brethren will eventually settle down happily in their new quarters , the first meeting giving every prospect of future fraternal happiness .

After the reading and confirmation of minutes , Bro . Nuttall , who had expressed a desire to complete his knowledge of Craft ceremonial , was questioned as to proficiency , and retired . The Lodge having been advanced , the candidate was re-admitted , and afterwards raisod to the sublime degree by Bro . Hepworth , tho Historical Charge being rendered by Brother Wildgoose P . M .
Bro . Sillitoe , whose interest in the success of the forthcoming festival to bo held at tho Botanical Gardens , Old Trafford , on Wednesday , 3 rd July is unremitting , attended for the purpose of making an appeal to the Brethren to accord a hearty support to the movement . At the festive board which followed , tho fun , to use a Thespian term ,
was " fast and furious , " its contributories being Bros . Ben Williams , John Williams , S . Gaskill , E . Roberts , R . Race , R . W . Nuttall , and W . W . Wilkinson . Bro . Hepworth W . M . proposed the health of tho candidate , to which Bro . Nuttall very neatly and effectively replied .
Bro . Warburton introduced tho toast of the Visitors , responses being elicited from all who were present .

After the confirmation of minutes Bro . J . J . Walton , who had expressed a desire to make a third and final venture into Craft Masonry , was duly questioned and ultimately raised to the sublime degree by the Worshipful Master . The usual festive board followed , at which Loyal and Masonic toasts were honoured , that of the newly-raised Brother being proposed by the W-M-i who drew attention to the courteous manner and modest demeanour which had characterised the candidate .
