voted to the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys , and 20 guineas for the Girls . The report of the Suffolk Masonic Charity Association alluded with satisfaction to the fact that £ 1 , 464 ' had been contributed this year in the Province towards the three Charities—the largest

amount over subscribed in one year . Tho brethren afterwards marched in procession , in full Masonic clothing , headed by the band of thc 4 th Hussars , to the church of SS . Peter and Paul , whero divine service was held , t * io choir of St . Mary Eims , Ipswich ( through the

arrangements of Bro . H . J . Wright ) , loading the choral portion , which was most effectively rendered . The sermon was preached by the Rev . J . H . Pilkington , one of tho newly appointed Provincial Grand Chaplains . On returning the Lodgo was resumed , and the Deputy Provincial Grand

Master briefly addressed the brethren , expressing deep regret at the unavoidable absence of the Provincial Grand Master , and speaking with great satisfaction of tho steady progress Masonry was making in tho Province of Suffolk . Alluding to the report of tho

Suffolk Charity Association , he said he was glad to find that during the past year the Province had surpassed itself , and he hoped before the whole of the lists closed the £ 1 , 460 which had already been contributed would be made up to the round number of £ 1 , 500 . He gave a

cordial welcome to the Deputy Provincial Grand Master of Norfolk ( Bro . Hamond le Strange ) , of whose Masonic work he spoko in eulogistic term ? . Bro . le Strange gavo hearty good wishes from the Province of . Norfolk . On tho motion of Bro . Cheston , seconded by Bro . Tracv , a vote of
