just past , and tho sums collected for fche Grand Charities . Two boys had been elected to tbe Boys' School , and the Province was strongly represented at the Jubilee Festival of the Masonic Benevolent Institution . The Committee
expressed their thanks to the brethren who had so liberally supported tbat Institution . One boy had left the School , one boy had been received , and one would enter next year .
Tbe votes of the Province were now about 250 for the Boys' School , 250 for the Girls ' , 500 for tho Men ' s Benevolent Institution , and 400 for women yearly . The brethren subscribing numbered 130 . The contributions to the threo
Chanties for the year amounted to £ 373 3 s 6 d , or a total of £ 3 , 075 9 s 6 d since the Association was started . The Committee further repirted thafc Bro . O . Papworth had been elected ou the Board of Management of tbo Boys '
Institution , and that his year of office would expire in 1895 . They strongly urged tho brethren to continue their support to the Institution , ancl hoped that the coming year wonld be an earnest of continued activity in the future .
Charity jewels were then presented by the Provincial Grand Master to Bros . G . Garrick , J . R . Green , and E . W . Harry , and Charity jewel clasps were Toted by the Lodge and presented to Bros . A . H . Moyes , O . Papworth , and S . H . Sbarmau .
Bro . Sharman proposed that the sum of fifteen guineas should be voted to the Cambridgeshire Masonic Charity Association for current expenses . Bro . Roston seconded the proposition ; and ifc was carried .

Apologies were read for non-attendance from the Prov . Grand Masters of Suffolk aud Bedford ; the Grand Secretary , and others . Alms were collected , to be devoted to Addenbrooke ' a Hospital , and the Lodge was then closed .
The banquet was held at the White Hart Hotel , and was splendidly served by Bro . Cheunell . The Provincial Grand Master presided , and opened the speech-making by proposing the Queen and the Craft , and the M . W . the Grand Master of England , H . R . H . the Prince of Wales , K . G .
The Provincial Grand Master next proposed the M . W . tho Pro Grand Master of England the Earl of Lathom , tho R . W . the Deputy Grand Master the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe , and the Officers of the Grand Lodge Present
and Past , which , he said , would be received with the more heartiness because tbey had a Past Grand Officer to respond to the toast . He coupled with it the name of Brother Gt Everett Past Grand . Treasurer .
Bro . G . Everett , after thanking the brethren for the heartiness with which they had always received the toast , said he thought the Grand Lodge was to be congratulated on the work it had done , and fche appointments which had been made by the M . W . Grand Master .
The Deputy Provincial Grand Master ( Bro . A . H . Moyes ) proposed the R . W . the Provincial Graud Master of Cambridgeshire , Bro . Col . R . T . Caldwell . He said Col . Caldwell bad not been with them very long in the high office he now held , but he had been connected with
Masonry in fche Province for over twenty years . Although he had only been installed twelve mouths , the Prov . Grand Master had visited every Lodge in the Province , and wherever he had gone there had always been pleasant reminiscences of his visits remaining behind .
The Provincial Grand Master ( Bro . Caldwell ) , in returning thanks , said it was the greatest possible pleasnre to him to have the honour of presiding over a Province such as Cambridgeshire ; because it was in that Province he first had the pleasure of seeing tbe light of
Freemasonry . The recollections he had carried away from visiting their Lodges had b'en of tho most pleasing description . He thought there was a great deal " of vitality in
the Province . He concluded by proposing the Deputy Provincial Grand Master , Bro . A . H . Moyes , who , he said , conscientiously devoted a great part of his time to the duties of tho offico .
The Deputy Provincial Grand Master said he regretted that his health had not permitted him to visit tbe Lodges daring the past year , but ho believed he might say that all the Lodges in the Province were financially and numerically in . a very satisfactory state .
The Provincial Grand Master next proposed the Grand Officera of the Province Present ancl Past , which was responded to by Bro . T . Jennings jun ., the Provincial Junior Warden .
Bro . W . P . Spilding proposed the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institutions , viz ., tbe Girls' School , the Boys ' School , and the Institution for aged Freemasons and Widows of Freemasons . That toast , he said ^ dealt with a subject peculiarly dear to the Masouic heart tbe virtue of
charity . He had the proud satisfaction of feeling that in the Province of Cambridgeshire that great virtue was appreciated in a truly Masonic spirit , bufc that feeling was turned to one of humility when they remembered the considcralt ' e benefits fche Province hud received frorn thoso

Terry said the Masonic Charities were very much indebted 'o the Province of Cambridgeshire for what it bad done for them , and they felfc particularly proud of it , as twelve JV fourteen years ago the Province did very little for tho Charities .
