finds the moon going her historic round . Tho stars are always in the places where tho skilled astronomer looks for them . Thue , most clearly and impressively , the astronomical re dm is an object lesson iu the things that

relate to law and order . In this teaching and illustration it accords with tho great , distinguishing principles of Freemasonry , and may bo said to stamp thorn with its approva l .

Members of tho Masonic Fraternity should be attentive to the lessons read to them out of tho skies as well as from books . So will come to them an increased appreciation of the worth of emblems and ceremonies employed by the Craft ; so will their thoughts be uplifted to the Infinite

Creator and Ruler , whoso power and wisdom are thus signified , and more of reveience to Him—more of the purpose of obedience to His moral law—will come into their hearts and have influence upon their lives . —Freemasons' Repository .

The members of the Lodge , in return for Bro . Forshaw ' s present , unanimously voted to him an old Kinwinning Lodge apron , punch bowl , and Bible , which the Lodge had hold quite 150 years .

ON Thursday afUrnooo , the Prince and Princes * of Wales , Princesses Maud and Victoria , and the Doke of York , arrived at Windsor by the one o ' clock train on the Great Western Railway , where they were met by a olose carriage and pair sent from the Royal mews , which conveyed them to the Albert Memorial Chapel , Windsor Castle . At the Chapel they were met by her Majesty , and

in the Qneeo ' s and their lloyal Highnesses presence the remains of the late Doke of Clarence were removed to the sarcophagus , their last resting place . The Chapel was beautifully decorated with ohoice shrubs and flowers from the Royal gardens , and the Prince and Princess of Wales plaoed splendid wreaths on the tomb .

The accounts of the Crystal Palace District Gas Com - pany now before us show that the result of tho half-year ' s working gives a balance to the credit of revenue account of £ 15 , 812 9 s 6 d , reduced , as shown in the profit and loss account , to £ 14 , 892 3 s 2 d , being sufficient to pay the
