Bros . Turner , Harrild , and Wild , of the Clemency Lodge , Oldham . The Lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes of the last meeting were rend nnH confirmed . Bro . Staosfield was passed to the second degree by the W . M ., and there being no fnriher business , the Lodgo was closed in peace and harmony at 7 " 45 .

SOUTHAMPTON LODGE , No . 394

A CINDERELLA dance was held at the Masonio Hall , South , hampton , on Thursday night , tbe 19 th ult ., under the anspices of the abovo Lodge . Under a dispensation from the Prov . Grand Master , Masonic clothing and regalia were wcrn . About fifty ladies aud geutlemen—the latter nob confined to membership of the Craftwere present , and a most enjoyable ovening was spent . A programme

of sixteen dances was arranged , admirable music beiug furnished by Mrs . Smith ( piano ) , and Mr . Noyea ( violin ) . The whole suite of available rooms were engaged , and furnished and partially decorated by Mrs . Horseman , and the refreshments were provided by Dartnall

and Co . The Stewards were Bros . A . HevvHt W . M ., H . Lashmore P . M ., G . J . Tilling P . M ., P . S . Clay , and A . W . Harris ( hoD . Sec . ) ; Bro . Bates was also on the list , bob was prevented from attending through a family bereavement . A floor , in splendid condition for dancing , was prepared by Brother . Biggs , the resident hall-keeper .

THE aDnual installation of the W . M . took place on Wednesday afternoon , at the Crown Hotel , Fleetwood . Bro . J . ¥ . Clark . BOD , tbe retiring W . General regret , however , was felt at tbe unavoidable absence of the Provincial Grand Master the Earl Amherst , who bad intended being present . After the usual formal business was transacted Bro . ON Tuesday evening , the 17 th ult ., the members of this Lodge held their monthly meeting at the King ' s Arms Hotel , Brompton , when Bro . Col . L . V . Loyd was unanimously eleoted a joining member of the Lodge . There wast a full attondance of brethren as there was no less than eix candidates for initiation , who were nil eleoted unanimously . The business was very ably done by

tion " The last man , " by Bro . Chalfont . Among those present were Bros . Young , Varren , Nye , Woodall , and brethren from Lodges 20 , 1050 , 407 , 165 , 184 , 17 G 0 , 1428 , 1860 , 955 , & a ., & a . A pleasant evening was spent .

DRAMATIC LODGE , No . 1609 . AT the last meeting of this Lodge , Brother H . Heard , the indefatigable Secretary , was presented by the W . M . ( Brother J . H . Light ) and the Officers and Brethren of tbe Lodge with a token of their regard and esteem . Bro . Heard has been Seoretary of this Lodge for six years , and the brethren in order to show their

appreciation of his services determined to present him with a souvenir . Bro . Heard , however , would have nothing for himself , but expressed a wish that the testimonial should be in favour of Mrs . Heard . Mrs . Heard was , in consequence , presented with a valuable gold watch

and chain , while Brother Heard accepted for himself a breast-pin . The Lodgo was very numerously attended . Among those present were : —Bros . Mein , A . E . Workman , J . Fineberg , H . Round , L . THE annual installation meeting was held on Tnesday , tho 24 th ult ., at the Lodge room , at the Masonic Buildings , Tonbridge , and there was a good attendance of brethren . Bro . B . Wadmore was the retiring Master , and he installed Bro . G . Tyler as his successor . It was deoided to present a P . M ' s jewel to Bro . Wadmore . MEDWAY LODGE , No . 1678

THE annual installation meeting was held on Tnesday , tho 24 th ult ., at the Lodge room , at the Masonic Buildings , Tonbridge , and there was a good attendance of brethren . Bro . B . Wadmore was the retiring Master , and he installed Bro . G . Tyler as his successor . It was deoided to present a P . M ' s jewel to Bro . Wadmore . The new Officers were installed as follows : —Bros .

Millidge S . W ., A'Vard J . W ., Rev . Corbett Moore Chaplain , S . W . Sbaw Treasurer , Dr . levers D . C ., Gallard S . D ., LeMay J . D ., Captain Jackson D . C ., W . A . Wardley Organist , H . Rush I . G . Rev . E . Ball and C . Hams Stewards , Austin Tyler . BrJ . Abrey P . M .

was appointed Charity Repesentative of the Lodge . In the evening tho customary banquet took place at the Rose and Crown Hotel , under the presidency of the new W . M ., who was well supported , the company numbering about 50 .

ST . MARY'S LODGE , No . 1763

THE annual installation ceremony in connection with this Lodge , fixed for Thursday , the 12 th nit ., bnt postponed , in consequenco of the lamented deaths of Bros , Castle and Lidington ) , tojk place on Thursday , the 19 th nit . ( by dispensation ) , at the Masonio Hall , Tbame , when Bro . Bond S . W . W M . elect , was dnly installed as W . M . for tho ensuing year . Bro . Mears WM . , assisted by his

Officers , opened the Lodge with the ancient ceremonies , and af'er the dispensation and the minutes of the previous meeting had bpoa rend , and the latter confirmed , tho chair was taken by the Installing Master , Bro . Sutton . Bro . Bond S . W . was then presented by tho retiring W . M . for installation , and duly installed . The new W . M .
