Four Lodges wero selected on the rota for the privilege of each nominating a Grand Steward to Grand Mark Lodgo , and after tho usual business the Lod » e was closed in due form . office appears to be highly appreciated and generally adopted . During the evening a very enjoyable programme of music was given under the direction of Bro . Egbert

Roberts P . P . G . S . B . Middlesex and Surrey , who was assisted by Miss Rosalind Haynes . We congratulate this lady on her marked success . The brethren were delighted with TIAT " fiffnrts .

provided by mine host Bro . Whomes , of the Bull Hotel , to whioh adequate justice was done . The W . M . announced that it was hia intention , iu conjunction with his predecessor , Bro . Hollis ( so long known to tho brethren iu connection with Masonio Charities ) , to staud aa Steward to represent the Lodgo at the Jubilee Celebration of tho Royal Benevolent Institution , and , sincerely hoped that the goodwill expressed towards him would find a ready response , when he asked

them to put their hands in their pockets to swell his list in February next for that all-important occasion . AU the nsual Masonio toasta met with full honour , the Provincial toasts being very heartily responded to , especially that of Earl Amherst the worthy and much esteemed Provincial Grand Master of Kent , also his Deputy Bro . Eastes . There being some excellent musical talent amongst the brethren present , the evening passed in a most harmonious manner .

Hollis ( so long known to tho brethren iu connection with Masonio Charities ) , to staud aa Steward to represent the Lodgo at the Jubilee Celebration of tho Royal Benevolent Institution , and , sincerely hoped that the goodwill expressed towards him would find a ready response , when he asked

them to put their hands in their pockets to swell his list in February next for that all-important occasion . AU the nsual Masonio toasta met with full honour , the Provincial toasts being very heartily responded to , especially that of Earl Amherst the worthy and much esteemed Provincial Grand Master of Kent , also his Deputy Bro . Eastes . There being some excellent musical talent amongst the brethren present , the evening passed in a most harmonious manner .
