and the W . M . gavo the lecture on the first tracing-board . Brother Longman feelingly alluded to the serious illness of Bro . Dr . Moore ; he was sure the Lodge would desire to express their sympathy with him in his sufferings , and Bro . H . C . Moore promised to convey the kind message to his brother . The proclamations elicited hearty good wishes from the representatives of the various Lodges present , and it was closed in love , peace , and harmony , and with solemn prayer .
Earl of Zetland Lodge of Instruction , No . 1364 . — The second meting of the above , since its removal to the convenient room ifc at present occupies , at Bro . Richardson ' s , the Royal Edward , Triangle , Mare-sfcreefc , Hackney , was held on Saturday , 23 rd ult ., Bro . R . A . Wright P . M ., in the chair , assisted by Bros . Pope and Lorkin as S . W . and ] J . W ., Fieldwick Preceptor , and numerous others . Tho
Lodgo was opened at seven o clock , and the minutes were read and confirmed . Bro . McMillan answered the questions ; tbe Lodge was opened in the third degree , and the ceremony of raising was rehearsed . The Lodge was resumed in the first degree , when it was decided the future meetings should be held every Saturday , between the hours of seven and nine , from October to April inclusive , except the third Saturday in each month . It was further agreed that the first
ceremony and lecture should be worked on the first Saturday , the second ceremony and lecture on the second Saturday , the third ceremony and lecture on the fourth Saturday , and that should there be a fifth Saturday in any of the months mentioned , the ceremony of installation should be rehearsed . In furtherance of this arrangement Bro . Fieldwick undertook to rehearse the ceremony of installation on the 30 th nit ., on which occasion there was a large attendance of the brethren .
