CONSECRATION OF THE BREEDSTOW LODGE , No . 2448 .

THIS Lodge was consecrated at Broadstairs recently , the ceremony being performed by the Provincial Grand Master , Earl Amhnrst , assisted by tbe Depnty Provincial Grand Master Brother J . S . Eastes , and other Provincial Officers . Among those present were Bros . Colonel Batnber , Crosoer , J . Moore , W . Clark ** , Franklin , A . Wootton , VV . Crawford , G . J . Henning , F . Stanley , G . H .

Chexfield , P . Masters , H . Manning , nnd others . Bro . G . Blaokbnrn was installed W . M ., Bro . H . S . Ford S . W ., and Bro . Edgar H . White J . W . The dispensation to the Lodge was promoted by tbe Margate and one of the Ramsgate Lodges . After the elaborate ceremony a banquet took place , which was well attended .

ENTERTAINMENT TO THE AGED POOR OF WESTON-SUPER-MARE .

ACCORDING to annnal custom the aged poor of Weston-snper . Mare have been entertained by the brethren of St . Kew Lodge , No . 1222 . Hitherto , tbe eve of the new year has been selected for the entertainment , bnt Saturday evening being inconvenient for many concerned , it was resolved that Friday , the 30 th ult ., should be substituted for tbe original date . A committee waa delegated by the Lodge to make the necessary arrangements , comprising Bros . Selliok ,

W . E . Perrett jnn ., W . H . Webb , J . Lovell , aud R . J . Dart . A boun . tiful " high tea " was served by Bro . E . G . Huntley , of the Priory Restaurant .
