It is with much regret I have to announce the death of our excellent frioud Companion John Hirst , of Uppermill , on the 29 th March ; he was an amiable and highly esteemed gentleman , and a distinguished member of this Chapter . In making my selectiou of Officers for the ensuing year , I havo endeavoured to
recognise merit to the best of my judgment , and to spread the offices as much as possible . Iu conclusion I thank you for yotir courteous salutation and your patience in listening to this " Jubilee Address . "

arrangements they had made . Provincial Grand Chapter was then closed according to ancient custom . Tea was provided in the banquet hall afc 5 * 30 , and upwards of sixty-five Companions partook of it , Companion Mason presiding .

Tongue , the W . M . of the Polish National Lodge , who , in response , said that he regretted that when he was made a ltoyal Arch Mason he did not know of the
existence of the Polish National Chapter he thns had joined the Eclectic . He hoped when some of his many duties were completed to become a member of the Polish National Chapter . After this the Officers wore complimented , and the Jauitor ' s toast closed a very pleasant evening .
The ceremony of Installation of Principals will be rehearsed , for the last time this session , afc the Metropolitan Chapter of Improvement , White Hart , Abchnrch Lane , corner of Cannon Street , on Tuesday , the 10 th insfc ., to
commence at half-past five o ' clock . The usual exaltation ceremony will afterwards be rehearsed . Members will please take note that fche session will end on the 24 th of May .

Percy Wallis P . G . D . Eng . P . P . S . G . W ., and a great number of candidates were dul y advanced . The Provincial Grand Blaster R . W . Bro . William Kelly , and tho Officers of the Provincial
