J . Stndholme Brownrigg acted as J . There was an exceptionally large attendance of Grand Officers and others . The minutes and other preliminary business having been disposed of , the acting M . E . Z . announced the re-election of the Prince of Wales as M . E . Z ., and the appointment by
His Royal Highness of the Earl of Carnarvon as Pro M . E . Z ., the Earl of Lathom as H ., and Lord Leigh as J . The latter post was not filled last year out of respect to the memory of the late Duke of Albany , who had held the office at the time of his decease . The following were then appointed and invested as the other Grand Officers for the
