the minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed . Tho ceremony of initiation was rehearsed , Brother Clark acting as candidate . The W . M . gave the charge . Bro . Marks , being a candidate for passing , answered the questions and was entrusted . Bro . Turner then

Ayling Preceptor , for the very able manner in which ho had filled he office dnring the evening . This was carried unanimously . Bro . Ay ling , in returning thanks , remarked this was

tho first time the Fifteen Sections had been worked in this Lodge of Instruction , which had nofc yefc completed its first year . This waa the first time he had undertaken the duties of W . M . on snch an occasion . He could but express his gratification at tbe admirable manner in which fche brethren , one and all , had assisted him ; he

hoped they would have many such enjoyable evenings . Ho then proposed , and Bro . Gardner seconded , a proposition that a hearty vote of thanks be recorded to each of the brethren who had assisted in working the sections . This was earrie 1 . Bros . Furze , Tilbury and Brown were appointed to audit the accounts for the past year .

Hearty good wishes were now given and Lodge was closed . A b . illofc will be taken on the third Saturday in May by the brethren who have attended the requisite nnmber of times . This will be the second five guineas given to the Charities from the funds during the Lodge ' s existence . This result is due to fche untiring energy of the worthy Treasurer .

Ayling Preceptor , for the very able manner in which ho had filled he office dnring the evening . This was carried unanimously . Bro . Ay ling , in returning thanks , remarked this was

tho first time the Fifteen Sections had been worked in this Lodge of Instruction , which had nofc yefc completed its first year . This waa the first time he had undertaken the duties of W . M . on snch an occasion . He could but express his gratification at tbe admirable manner in which fche brethren , one and all , had assisted him ; he

hoped they would have many such enjoyable evenings . Ho then proposed , and Bro . Gardner seconded , a proposition that a hearty vote of thanks be recorded to each of the brethren who had assisted in working the sections . This was earrie 1 . Bros . Furze , Tilbury and Brown were appointed to audit the accounts for the past year .

Hearty good wishes were now given and Lodge was closed . A b . illofc will be taken on the third Saturday in May by the brethren who have attended the requisite nnmber of times . This will be the second five guineas given to the Charities from the funds during the Lodge ' s existence . This result is due to fche untiring energy of the worthy Treasurer .
