Afc a meeting of tbe members of tbe Wellington Lodge , to consider a letter of the Earl of Onslow P . G . W . of tbe Grand Lodge of England , on the present position of Masonry in New Zealand , in connection witb tbe Grand Lodge movement , tho following resolution was carried : —
" That the letter of Bro . the Earl of Onslow be received , and that he be respectfully informed thafc while the Wellington Lodge has no present intention of severing from the Grand Lodge of England , the
brethren nevertheless fully share the regret expressed by his Excellency afc the dissensions now unfortunately existing among Freemasons in the colony , and would be glad to hear of any plan for their removal . "
