Do Crespigny wns invested with the Collar of tho J . W ., an appointment of tho Worshipful Master's which gavo universal satifaction . The recommendation for a Ledge at Teddington was signed bv tho Master and

Wardens . A letter , expressing resret for unavoidable absence , was received from E . W . Bro . Colonel Burdett Provincial Grand Master . Tho W . M . worked all the ceremonies in his usual solemn and impressive manner , nnd after about three honrs and a half of labour , the Lndire wns closed , nnd the brethren adjourned to refreshment . The cloth being' removed , the usual Loyal nnd Masonic toasts were honoured , Bro . Walls P . P . G . Organist responded for tho Officers of

the Province . Bro . Honeywell proposed tho health of the Master , which was heartily received , and as heartily responded to . Bro . Drnmmond acknowledged the toast of tho Initiate , and Bro . Home that of the Visitors . The Officers of the Lodge , and the Tyler ' s toast brought a pleasant evening to a close , the proceedings being enlivened by musical contributions from Bros . Walls , Honeywell , Hurst , & c . The next meeting will take place on Monday , 2 nd December .

M . be Steward at ( he next Festival for the Old People , and also that the sum of £ 5 as from the benevolent fnnd of tbe Lodge be placed on his list , —carried . Lodge wns then closed , and the brethren adjourned to a cold collation , which was served by Bro . Fysh in a most satisfactory manner , and to which the brethren did ample justice . After the usual Loyal toasts had been disposed of , tbe W . M .

proposed the health of tho Initiate , Bro . C Millington , observing that ho had had the pleasure of initiating one who ho knew wonld bo an honour to the Lodge and a credit to the Craft . Bro . C .
