OUR MILLENARY .
WE may be excused for saying a word in regard to ourselves on the occasion of the issue of this , our thousandth number , but we shall confine our remarks to an expression of thanks for the favours of the past , with the hope that we may be even more
liberally supported in the future , and so enabled to do more for the good of the cause we have at heart . In these days of journalistic enterprise it is no very difficult task to point to a specialty suited to the needs and
requirements of every class—the merest caprices and whims of fashion being catered for by some new aspirant for public favours , but it is not all these ventures that exist for a thousand weeks ; therefore we
should express our gratification that the FEEEMASON ' CHBONICLE has done so . We have received several kind expressions of approval during the last month , and these , coupled with the fact that we have a journal
of respectable age to work for , inspire us with fresh enthusiasm , which will lead , we hope , to satisfactory results . We trust it may be our good fortune to address
our readers under equally gratifying conditions on the completion of the two thousandth number of the FBEEMASON ' S CHBONICLE .
