Lord Sandhurst , who has returned to England . The Warrant of the Moira Lodge , No . 412 , has been returned to Grand Lodge through the District Grand Master for Victoria .

FUND OF BENEVOLENCE . The M . W . Brother Bt . Hon . the Earl of Euston Pro Grand Master has most kindly consented to preside at the thirty-second Annual Festival in aid of the Benevolent Fund , which will be held at the Freemasons' Tavern , on Wednesday , 11 th July 1900 , and the Grand Secretary will be happy to receive the names of Ladies and Brethren willing to act as Stewards .

Bro . Henry Bobert Langmead , now in his 75 th year , advanced in the Friendship Lodge , No . 16 , Devonport , April 1877 , of which he is a Past Master , also one of the Founders of the St . Anne Lodge , No . 351 , East Looe , Cornwall , has been elected on the Annuity Fund without proceeding to a Poll .

The Board has elected on the Educational Fund , without a Poll : George Vernon Odell , son of the late Bro . Bushton Odell , of the Brixton Lodge , No . 234 , London . The Sub-Committee on Education , having carefully considered the Annual Eeports of the Head Masters and Mistresses of the Schools at which

the various pupils on the Fund are being educated , has awarded the Silver Medal for ptcficiency in studies and general excellence to George Darby , being educated at the Grammar School , Portsmouth ; and Bebecca Cohen , being educated at the North Manchester High School for Girls . The Board recommends to Grand Lodge : —

£ 25 to Mrs . H . S . C . G ., Widow of a Brother of Lodges Nos . 43 and 107 . ( Signed ) B . LOVELAND LOVELAND , President . FRANK BICHABDSON , Vice-President . 0 . F 1 TZGEBALD MATIEB , Grand Secretary .

London Pavilion . —Bro . Frank Glemster has always a pleasing programme to submit for the delectation of the patrons of this handsome Hall , and the present is no exception to the general rule . There are no less than twentyseven items on the list , and old favourites and fresh novelties succeed one another to the entire satisfaction of the audience . Among the fresh comers are Mr . Frank Lawton , the famous whistler , who repeats the clever scenes which made so great a success in the " Belle of New York " ; Mdlle . Bobe , a talented violinist and xylophone player ; Mr . George D'Albert , a capital

singer , with sensible songs ; Colby and Way , in a very diverting ventriloquial sketch , in which one of the performers cleverly impersonates aDancingDoll ; and Miss Helen Dupont , the piquante French burlesque actress . There are also a fine series of Tableaux Vivants , representing some of the works of the most eminent artistes , which are admirably arranged . Amongst the old favourites are Mr . B . G . Knowlcs , as clever and as quaint as ever ; Miss Queenie Lawrence , Miss Nellie Navette , Dutch Daly , and the Harvey Boys , in their boxing exhibition . An excellent evening's entertainment .

Wyndham ' s . —The fate of farces , especially those of recent years , is generally to run their course , successful or otherwise , than to be laid in the theatrical limbo , whence they seldom emerge , or are swallowed up in forgetfulness . But there are farces and farces ; and it is not surprising that Mr . Pinero ' s famous " Dandy Dick " should have been revived at Mr . Charles Wyndham ' s elegant theatre pending the brief holiday of its fortunate possessor . The revival is principally noticeable on account of Miss Violet

Vanbrugh ' s impersonation of Georgiana Tidman , formerly associated with Mrs . John Wood , and it is no small praise that must be accorded to the younger artiste for her admirable conception of the character . She rattles through the part with excellent taste that is never vulgar , while the humour loses nothing at her bands . Her description of the Dean ' s rescue is in the highest form of art . Mr . Alfred Bishop makes a dignified Dean , and his two

forward daughters are well represented by Misses Maud Hoffman and Grace Lane . The artful Blore finds a capital exponent in Mr . George Giddens , while Mr . W . H . Denny impersonates the stolid rustic constable to the very life . Mrs . Annie Hughes gives a bright little picture of Hannah , and Messrs . Vain Tempest , Stanley Cooke , Edmund Maurice , and A . E . George satisfactorily sustain the remaining characters .
