Delacoste ) hoped to follow in such ablo footsteps . Again a musical treat awaited the brethren . " Melodio , " by Gounod , was sung by Miss Isabella Stono , whilo a violoncello oblieato , by J . A . Brousil was given . Brother Stevens I . P . M ., after

acknowledging the honour done , said ho was introduced to tho Lodge by their respected Brother Hydo Pullen , and initiated by Brother Soppet . He then thought there must bo something good in Freemasonry . The kindness ho had received ho should never forget . FTo passed throngh the chair , but , unfortunately , thoy lost by death the W . M . elect , and ho was compelled to occupy it for a second year .

He felt a great amount of pleasure in having tho privilege to instal their W . M ., and hoped ho had gained his approbation . Tho words uttered by the Grand Secretary it waa a great satisfaction to him to hear ; they would make a lasting impression ou him . The W . M . uext proposed tho toast of the Visitors . Brother Ramsay responded . Bro . Cramer returned thanks for the Past Masters , ancl Bro . F .

Binckes made a forcible appeal in responding to the toast of the Masonio Institutions . Tho other toasts comprised tho Treasurer and Secretary , the Wardens and Officers , & c , & o . To each full honour was done . The W . M . exhibited great judgment in selecting a musical party to add to the enjoyment of tho meeting . To Bro . Edwin M . Lott was entrusted the arrangements , and ho had secured the services

of the popular favourite Madame Worrell , Miss Isabella Stone , and Bros . Egbert Roberts aud J . Brousil ; these artistes exerted themselves most creditably . During the evening Bro .
