meeting , as candidates for fche second degree were examined , entrusted , and retired . Lodgo was opened in the second degree , when the brethren named wero duly passed . Loclgo was closed to the firsfc degree , ancl a ballot having been taken for Bros . Davies and fveorte , both of the Dalhousie Lodge , No . 865 , proposed by Bra . Williams ,
seconded by Brother Collins P . M ., as joining members , and fche ballot being unanimously iu their favour , they were declared duly elected ; they suitably thanked the Lodge . Organist , excusing himself from attendance on account of indisposition . A resignation was also announced , and accepted with regrefc . Lodgo was then closed in accordance wifch ancient custom , and fche brethren adjourned to fche dining-room , where a plain , but substantial , ropast awaited them . The table being cleared , the W .
