Lodge being opened , and the minntes read and confirmed , the ballot was taken for a joining member , and proved unanimous in his favour . The next businesa was to pass Bro . Thomas Evans to the second degree , which ceremony was performed

by the W . M . with his usual ability . The W . M . having made the formal enquiries regarding propositions , Bro . Clements was unani . mously elected to represent this Lodge as Steward afc the approaching Festival of the Girls' School ; and the visiting brethren having expressed their hearty good wishes , the Lodge was closed in harmony , with solemn prayer , and tho meeting adjourned till the 2 nd Monday in April .

At the regular meeting of the Etonian Locige No . 209 , held at the Masonio Hall , Windsor , on Tnesday , 2 nd inst ., the sum of 10 guineas was voted from the Funds of the Lodge , to the Irish Famine Belief Fund , tbe motion being proposed by the W . M . and seconded by the

S . W . Another feature in connection with this Lodge which we are pleased to chronicle ia the establishment of a charity box , which waa determined npon on tho proposition of the S . W . supported by Bro . Dick Eadclyffe . We hope it will be long before any of the members are compelled to appeal to the fund thns inaugurated .

A . friends as would wish to be present , to commemorate the anniversary of the foundation of this Chapter of Improvement ; tho date and other arrangements were not definitely fixed , on account of the unavoidable absence of Comp . At the regular meeting of the Etonian Locige No . 209 , held at the Masonio Hall , Windsor , on Tnesday , 2 nd inst ., the sum of 10 guineas was voted from the Funds of the Lodge , to the Irish Famine Belief Fund , tbe motion being proposed by the W . M . and seconded by the

S . W . Another feature in connection with this Lodge which we are pleased to chronicle ia the establishment of a charity box , which waa determined npon on tho proposition of the S . W . supported by Bro . Dick Eadclyffe . We hope it will be long before any of the members are compelled to appeal to the fund thns inaugurated .
