tute , Keighley , when the Provincial Grand Master will present to tbe Local Lodgo its Centenary Warrant , signed by the Prince of Walps as Grand Master of the Order . It is thirty . threo years since tbe Provincial Lodge last visited Keighley .

ON Monday , tho 1 st inst ., a nnmber of important presentations were ma lo at the monthly meeting ab the Masonic Hall , Torquay . Past Masters' jewels were presented to tho following worshipful br , thren : —Bros . 0 . J . Harland , VV . Wakeham , D . J . Allams , VV . Taylor , J . Grant , J . Salter , and E . Richards . The presentations were made by Bro . R . L . Mnglbrd W . M ., and Bro . W . Richards

having beeu made W . M . during the past year received a jubilee medal , tho other jewels having a gold bar bearing the inscription " Veteran " in recognition of their services to the Lodge . Bro . the

Rev . Elphinstoue Rivers , Babbacombe , and Conway Conch wore raised , and the brethren afterwards partook of a cold collation , which was served in the banqueting-room of the hall by Bro . Harrison , of the Queen ' s Hotel .

The musical portion of the ceremony was most efficiently rendered by several brethren , under the guidance of Bro . Cockrein Organist . Three candidates for initiation wore proposed and duly seconded . After hearty good

wishes wore tendered tho W . M . by the visiting brethren the Lodge was closed . After the ceremony a most sumptuous banquet was provided ; it was ably served by the Stewardess of the Hall , Mrs . Simpson . The usual toasts were duly given and were fully honoured .

THE installation of Bro . Henry Hirst as the W . M . took place in the newly consecrated Lodge room , Kingston Square , Hull , on the 4 th inst . There was a large attendance of members and visiting brethren . Bro . Hirst was installed by Bro . Lieut .-Col . the Hon . W . T . Ordo Powlett P . G . W . Deputy Prov . Grand Master . The new W . M . invested the following brethren as his Officers during the year : —

THE brethren met at the Surrey Masonic Hall , S . E ., on Thursday , 27 th ult ., when , notwithstanding the absence of many members who were away on their holidays , the attendance was good . The minutes of the last Lodge meeting having been read and confirmed , the W . M . ( Bro . Harcourt West ) initiated Mr . A . Rantzer and Mr . G . Delahaye with muoh impressiveness , the charge after initiation being

especially well given . It was proposed by Bro . E . Side and seconded by Bro . A . 0 . Side , that a Ladies' Night and Ball bo given during the season . The proposal was carried unanimously . A committee was appointed for the purpose of carrying out the arrangements , the committee consisting of Bros . B . Cohen , S . F . Bygrave , R . Rowlands ,

T . Newall , A . 0 . Side , and E . Side . Bro . James Bayne was an excellent Organist . The dinner was enlivened by some capital speeches from the W . M ., Officers , Visitors , & c , and excellent songs were given by Bros . Boys , Bygrave , and Greenwood . The W . M . also gave a r ecitation in his well-known style .

The Lodge was opened by Bro . R . P . Forgo tho I . P . M . ( in consequence of the death of the Master , Bro . G . F . Snook , in March last ) . Bro . Forge , assisted by Bro . Thos . Casely S . W . ( W . M . elect ) , W . T . H . Mayer J . W ., J . Cooper P . M . Treasurer , A . VV . Fenner P . M .

Secretary , H . C . Turner S . D ., H . J . Hazel as I . G ., T . Bowler Tyler , Past Masters C . K . Killick sen ., C . K . Killick jun ., H . Hall , and about thirty members , with several visitors . Lodge was opened in regnlar form . The minutes of the last regular Lodge and two emergency meetings wero read and confirmed , after whioh the business of the

meeting was proceeded wifch . This , whioh was of a heavy character , included the working of the three degrees as well as fche installation ceremony . The P . M . 's of the Lodge with their well known readiness shared the work between them . The W . M . elect was installed by the first Master of fche Lodge , Bro . C . K . Killick jun . The new W . M .

D . Harper A . W . S ., W . Wright Organist , T . Bowler Tyler . A ballot was taken for the admission of Mr . W . A . Wetherfield ; ifc proved unanimous . The new W . M . initiated the following gentlemen : — Mr . Thomas Casely ( the father of the W . M . ) , Mr . Lewis Cully , and Mr . Samuel Jamieson . These candidates were ballotted for at the

previous Lodge meeting . Bro . Jas . Cooper P . M . gave the charge in a very impressive manner , eliciting the approbation of the brethren . Routine business followed , after which the Lodge was closed and the brethren adjourned to a banquet , which was served in Bro . Baker ' s well known style , and superintended by their new manager , Brother

Joseph Sams . The Loyal toasts were given , and responded to most heartily , the brethren singing the National Anthem . The toasts of tho W . M . and Visitors were also cordially received . That of the Initiates received an ovation . In responding , all expressed their pleasure in being made members of a Fraternity universally admired ;

they would do their utmost to become honourable members of the Order . The W . M . was complimented on the fact of his " father " becoming his " brother . " The P . M . 's , Treasurer , and Secretary , as also the Officers of the Lodge , were complimented , the toasts in eaoh case being received with cordiality . Time pressing , the responses

rflHE annual installation took place on Wednesday , 3 rd msfc ., at the X Masonio Hall , West Hartlepool . The newly elected W . M ., Bro . Geo . T . Walker , was installed by Bro . R . W . Simpson , in the presence of several eminent visiting brethren . The W . M . appointed the following Officers , viz .: —Bros . Suggifcfc S . W ., White J . Smith Organist , Body I . G ., and Baumann , Johnson , and Holland Stewards . A jewel was presented to Bro . Simpson ( who has twice filled the chair ) by Bro . C . S . Lane , and another to Bro . Hurworth , of the Harbour of Refuge Lodge , in recognition of his musical services . At the close of the ceremony a banquet was served afc the Royal Hotel .

ST . OSYTH PRIORY LODGE , No . 2063

ON Friday ; 21 st ult ., the annual festival in connection wifch this Lodge took place afc the Royal Hotel , Clacton-on-Sea , over fifty members of the Craffc being present , including twenty-one Past Masters . Bro . J . P . Allen S . W . was installed as W . M . for the ensuing year , the ceremony being ably performed by Bro . VV . J . Nunn I . P . M ., assisted by Bro . Fred King , while Bro . J . C . Turner acted as Organist .

Joseph Sams . The Loyal toasts were given , and responded to most heartily , the brethren singing the National Anthem . The toasts of tho W . M . and Visitors were also cordially received . That of the Initiates received an ovation . In responding , all expressed their pleasure in being made members of a Fraternity universally admired ;

they would do their utmost to become honourable members of the Order . The W . M . was complimented on the fact of his " father " becoming his " brother . " The P . M . 's , Treasurer , and Secretary , as also the Officers of the Lodge , were complimented , the toasts in eaoh case being received with cordiality . Time pressing , the responses

rflHE annual installation took place on Wednesday , 3 rd msfc ., at the X Masonio Hall , West Hartlepool . The newly elected W . M ., Bro . Geo . T . Walker , was installed by Bro . R . W . Simpson , in the presence of several eminent visiting brethren . The W . M . appointed the following Officers , viz .: —Bros . Suggifcfc S . W ., White J . W ., Taylor Treasnrer , Mearns Secretary , Abbey S . D ., Barlow J . D ., Metcalfe D . C

Smith Organist , Body I . G ., and Baumann , Johnson , and Holland Stewards . A jewel was presented to Bro . Simpson ( who has twice filled the chair ) by Bro . C . S . Lane , and another to Bro . Hurworth , of the Harbour of Refuge Lodge , in recognition of his musical services . At the close of the ceremony a banquet was served afc the Royal Hotel .

ST . OSYTH PRIORY LODGE , No . 2063

ON Friday ; 21 st ult ., the annual festival in connection wifch this Lodge took place afc the Royal Hotel , Clacton-on-Sea , over fifty members of the Craffc being present , including twenty-one Past Masters . Bro . J . P . Allen S . W . was installed as W . M . for the ensuing year , the ceremony being ably performed by Bro . VV . J . Nunn I . P . M ., assisted by Bro . Fred King , while Bro . J . C . Turner acted as Organist .

Foxcroft I . P . M . was presented with a handsome P . M . ' s jewel , in recognition of the able manner in which he had acted as W . M . during the past two years . Bro . Foxcroft was also appointed Representative on the Provincial Charity Committee .

THE annnal festival of St . John and the installation of the W . M . for tho ensuing year took place on Thursday , 27 th ult ., at the Wesleyan Schools , Etruria . There was a large attendance of members and visitors . The Lodge having been opened , Bro . Richard Tooth was again installed W . M ., the ceremony of installation being impressively performed by Bros . E . B . Jackson and D . Smith . The
