CORNWALL . THE Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Cornwall was held at the Masonic Flail , Falmouth , on Tuesday , 3 rd inst ., Bro . P . Colville Smith P . M . P . G . D . of England'Deputy Prov . G . M . M . presiding in the absence of the Earl of Halsbury Prov . Grand Master , who was detained in London .

The Earl of Halsbury ( Lord High Chancellor ) was again recommended to the Grand Lodge as Prov . Grand Master . The routine business having been transacted a grant was made to the Mark Benevolent Fund , and at the close of the Lodge the Brethren repaired to the Duke of Cornwall Hotel ,

where seventy-two members sat down to luncheon , and a few toasts were honoured . The remainder of the day was enjoyably spent in a trip on the Queen of the Fal to Helford River and St . Mawes , the party landing at the docks . Several ladies joined in the steamer trip , which proved a fitting close to a successful day .
