Metropolitan Chapter of Improvement . — 'A meeting of this Chapter of Improvement was held on Tuesday evening , 11 th inst ., at the Jamaica Tavern , St . Michael's Alley , Cornhill , and as usual was very well attended by Royal Arch Masons . Comp . Bloomfield occupied the position of Z ., Payne H ., Moss J ., Lardner S . N ., Swain P . S ., Brown Preceptor S . E . There were also present Comps . Kirke ,

H . Thompson , N . Green , Edmonds , Storr , J . Payne , Walker , Abell , Tomkins , & o . The ceremony of exaltation was rehearsed , Comp . Webb being the candidate .
