" Grace having been said , the W . M . proceeded with the Loyal and Masonic toasts ; he suggested that the programme was a long one , but ho would abbreviate his
remarks ; he would , however , strive to honour those who so well de . served it . In speaking of tho Worshipful Master Bro . Hunt I . P . M . said ho had known Bro . Stephens for many years ; in fact , he had tho honour of introducing him into tho Lodge . He was indeed proud that night to propose his health , and instal him as W . Master ,
He was one who would carry out every duty reqnired of him , and would fill the chair of the Lodge with credit to himself and satisfac tion to the brethren . It was with great pleasure the W . to him to see 22 W . M . ' s and P . M . ' s at his installation . Such a gathering was unprecedented in their Lodge ; he hoped to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors , and thanked one and all heartily for the reception they had given the toast . The next toast was the health of the I . P . M . and Installing
Master . The Lodge had always been proud of its workers , and what the brethren had seen that evening was eminently satisfactory . During Bro . Hunt ' s year of office he had initiated ten candidates , ' and had been complimented over and over again for his work . The brethren had combined to present him with a Past Master ' s collar

this he ( the W . M . ) had great pleasnre in presenting . These gifta may be said to testify to the respect Bro . Hunt is held in . In the course of his reply , Bro . by Bro . Bailey , he felt he could nofc satisfy himself by auythmg he conld express . However , he never should forget their kindness ; ifc would make a lasting impression on him . The toast of the Past Masters came next on the list ; their ability had been seen and ap . predated in the past ; no better could be found in any Lodge . Ho
would oall on Bros . Longhnrst aud Chalfout to respond . The former brother , in acknowledging the compliment , said ifc was a great pleasure so seo the Lodge in so flourishing a condition , and to see the present W . M . occupying the chair . He regretted not being able to he more frequently with them . Bro . Chalfont followed . He said
Bro . Lonsrhnrst wns the first Master , and now the Father of the Lodge . He hoped to see many junior Officers eventually occupy the chair . The Worshipful Master then proposed the toast of the Visitors . He had been hononred with a distinguished company } among them was one he would especially refer to , —Bro . Seager-Hunfc

D . Berks and Bucks , Raker P . M ., Woolley W . M . 15 , S . Phillips P . M . 173 , and Davie W . M . elect 173 . Bro . Hunt said he felt a pleasure in rising to
respond to the toast , although he thought another brother should have preceded him . It was essentially a pleasnre to listen to our grand ritual when it was eloquently rendered , and this had been especially the case that evening . What the new Worshipfnl Master had already done showed he was likely to prove a credit to the
Lodge , and to add lnsfcre to its reputation . He trnsted he might be present on a future occasion , when he felfc assured what he prognosticated now would be fully realised . The other brethren whose names were mentioned also bore testimony to the ability that had been displayed by those who were entrusted with the govern .
