MARK BENEVOLENT FUND . 20 th FESTIVAL , IN JULY 1888 . UNDER THE PRESIDENCY OF The Most Hon . the MARQUESS OF HERTFORD R . W . Dep . G . Master of M . M . M . and Prov . G . Master of Warwickshire . THE Fnnd is divided into the Benevolent , Educational , and Annuity Branches , and all Donations and Subscriptions are apportioned equally between these three objects . Since the formation of the Fund in 1869 a sum of nearly £ 2000 has been distributed in grants of relief . Thirty-six children have reaped the advantages of the Educational Branch at a total cost of £ 950 , while at the meeting of Grand Lodge in June 1886 it was unanimously agreed to give the annual sum of £ 5 to each pupil for clothing , which will necessitate this year a further expenditure of over £ 120 , the Educational Fees amounting to nearly £ 300 . Two Brethren are at present recipients from the Annuity Fund , and the Board will gladly consider the olaim 3 of necessitous Brethren or Widows of Brethren , being empowered to grant the sum of £ 20 and £ 16 per annum respectively to accepted Candidates after election . newly appointed Clerk of the Peace for the County of Leicester ) was nominated as Steward to represent the Province at the next Festival of the Mark Benevolent Fund , and ten guineas was voted from the funds to be

p laced upon his list . The R . W . P . G . M . accorded a heartywelcome to Bro . C . F . Matier , and trusted that he would honour the Lodge by his presence for many years to come .

Bro . Matier thanked Bro . Kelly for his greeting , and said it would afford him much p leasnre to attend this Provincial Graud Lodgo iu future years . The R . W . P . G . M . appointed the following brethren to office for the ensuing
