expressed his thanks tor Bro . Craggs remarks , and incidentally stated that he had had three sons officers in the British Army , who had lost their lives in fighting for their Queen and Country . Bro . Hide was elected to act as W . M . at the next meeting , and the Lodge was closed .

Napoli to take the chair , and after the usual formalities , the ceremony of initiation was rehearsed , Bro . Atkinson candidate . The W . M . then vacated the chair in favour of Bro . Darch , who opened the Lodge in the second degree ,
when Bro . Gayer answered the questions and was entrusted . The Lodge was advanced , and the third ceremony was gone through . This being the first time we had seen Bro . Napoli in the chair we compliment him on his excellent working . Bro . Darch rehearsed the third ceremony .
The Lodge was resumed to the first degree , and Bros . Edwin King 720 and John Elliott 720 were elected as members . Bro . Darch proposed that a hearty vote of congratulation be recorded on the minutes for the very able manner in which Bro .
