DINNER OF THE TEMPLE LODGE OF INSTRUCTION . THE first annual dinner in connection with this Lodge , No . 101 , was held at the Uplands Hotel , Dulwich , on Thursday , 2 nd inst . TheLoclge was opened in due form by Bro . Stephen Lee W . M . Bro . Plant Preceptor worked the second section of the first lecture , assisted by the Brethren . The
Lodge was afterwards closed to allow of an adjournment to the dining room . Bro . Dowsett P . M . here presided . Taking into consideration that tho Lodge is only in its infancy , a very large number of prominent Masons wero present . The menu was par excellence , and served in good style by Bro . Abel . Toast and song occupied the remainder of the evening .

Smith J . D ., W . Allard I . G . The ceremony of initiation was rehearsed , Bro . Smith being the candidate . Tho W . M ,-, vacated the chair in favour of the Secretary Bro . Reminton , who
entrusted Bro . Leapbard , and then rehearsed the ceremony oi passing . The W . M . resumed the Lodge to the first degree . Bro . Penrose Preceptor proposed that a hearty vote of congratulation be recorded on the minutes for the able manner in which tbe W . M . has fulfilled his duties for the first time in this Lodge . This was unanimously agreed to and the compliment was acknowledged in appreciative terms .
DINNER OF THE TEMPLE LODGE OF INSTRUCTION . THE first annual dinner in connection with this Lodge , No . 101 , was held at the Uplands Hotel , Dulwich , on Thursday , 2 nd inst . TheLoclge was opened in due form by Bro . Stephen Lee W . M . Bro . Plant Preceptor worked the second section of the first lecture , assisted by the Brethren . The
Lodge was afterwards closed to allow of an adjournment to the dining room . Bro . Dowsett P . M . here presided . Taking into consideration that tho Lodge is only in its infancy , a very large number of prominent Masons wero present . The menu was par excellence , and served in good style by Bro . Abel . Toast and song occupied the remainder of the evening .
