ON Thursday afternoon , tho 10 th inst ., tho newly-resuscitated Lodgo of Mon ; t , 2358 , was formall y consecrated and constituted with an amouut of Masonio ceremonial which does not fall to the lot of residence in this Island to witness very often in a generation . For many years a Lodge of Mona had existed iu Castletown prior to 1887 , but it waa unrolled under the Irish Constitution , and five veara

ago it was thought better , for various reasons , to surrender the Irish charier ami join bands with tho other Insular Lod ges who worked in affiliation with the Graud Lodgo of England .
