our Brotherhood , and tho discharge of tho most important duties connected with its government . We aro fully aware thafc the smallest details which have como before you in this capacity have received yonr most careful consideration . We trust that , as District Grand Master of Bombay , you have realized the accuracy of the forecast whioh you made on the occasion of your Royal Highness ' s

On the same occasion , you were pleased to add thafc , if during fche tenure of your office you succeeded in keeping the Brethren up to
fche mark , iu increasing their numbers , and stimulating their enthusiasm , you would feel amply rewarded . And now thafc you are leaving us , we feel assured thafc your Royal Highness will not consider you have laboured in vain , for not only has the former standard of Masonio work been fully maintained , but the devotion of the Brethren has bet > me strengthened by the example you
have sofc them in aiding and encouraging every object tending to the advancement and good of fche Craft . But believe us , Sir , when we assure you that the benefits which have followed your rule will not cease with your departure . Tho bright light which has shone on Masonry in this district during the period you have ruled so wisely and so well , will , wo trust , continue to shine for many years
to come , to enlighten the brethren in the path of duty ; and wo doubt nofc but that , though separated from us , you will still continue to take an interest in our welfare and progress .
