Lodgo was opened , and tho minntes of last regular Lodgo wero read and confirmed . Bros . Weatherhead and Collins gave proof of ther efficiency in the second degree , and wero raised to the snblimo degree of M . M . The ceremony was performed by the W . M . with great correctness , precision and feeling , the musical accompaniment considerably adding to the effect of the ceremony , while tho charge and
lecture on the tracing board were given in exlenso . The Lodgo was closed to the first degree . Bro . Bailey addressed the Lodge upon his " notice of motion" of tho 11 th February ( seo page 150 of thio present volume ) , Bro . Margrett P . M . seconded it , and it was declared to bo carried . The W . M . thanked tho brethren for tho substantial addition to his list ns Steward for the Festival of tho R . M . I . G ., and
expressed the hope that by exchange of votea he should materially assist in the endeavour to obtain for Bro . Leaver the annuity he sought for . Bro . Flanagan I . P . M . addressed the Lodge in allusion to the many kindnesses and attentions he had received daring hi 3 year of office , and being desirous of presenting to the Lodgo something in
the shape of a Memorial , he had had the vignettes of the Founders mounted and framed , he begged the members to accept the same . The Secretary with his usual " effrontery " had had his gift hnng up in anticipation of its acceptance ; ho trusted the brethren would excuse this . Bro . Flanagan ' s present wa 3 accepted with acclamation . All business being ended the Lodge was closed .
The meetings of the Islington Lodge of Instruction , hitherto held at the Three Bucks Tavern , Gresham Street , will in future bo held at Bro . Kent ' s , Moorgate Station Reataurant , every Tneaday Evening , at seven o ' clock . Broi W . Bausor is the Secretary , and Bro . J . L . Mather P . M . 65 , 1471 , 1580 , the Preceptor .

Tho inauguration of the Kingsland Lodge of Instruction took placo at the Canonbury Tavern , Canonbury-square , on Monday , 15 th March , when a very largo assemblage of the brethren attended to witness Bro . J . Terry P . P . G . J . W . Herts rehearae the ceremonies of consecration and installation ; after which the brethren sat down to an excellent supper , provided by tho host , Bro . Longhurst . The weekly meetings of the Lodge will be held at the above address every Monday , at 8 . 30 .
