ROYAL JUBILEE NOTES . WE have received several communications from esteemed correspondents in various parts of the country , in which opinions are expressed relative to the circular issued b y the Earl of Carnarvon Pro Grand Master ,

and which was dealt with in our columns last week . They are , however , so uniformly in one direction that , dictated by economy of our space , we are disposed to summarise them for the information of our readers .

— : o : — Taking the paragraphs of the circular seriatim , the majority of ^ the writers express their unbounded satisfaction at the idea of commemorating the Jubilee of Her Most Gracious Majest y ' s reign with every demonstration of

loyalty and affection , and of respect for our Most Worshipful Grand Master , Hi 3 Royal Highness the Prince of Wales . That this would be the prevailing sentiment of the Craft at large wo were confident in predicting when our

comments on the circular were penned ; and it must be a source of universal congratulation that a chord of such harmonious note has been made to reverberate throughout the entire ranks of English I ' recmasoury . Thus there
