Medcalf , Bush , Walker , W . E . Gompertz jun ., J . P . Black . The chief business of tho evening consisted in the rehearsal of the third degree , in which the W . M . exhibited considerable proficiency . Indeed , the Preceptor took occasion to compliment that Brother , and to assure him that he had disappointed him ( the Preceptor ) most agreeably ; for Avhile going through the minor offices , nothing appeared to

indicate tho possession of the capability displayed that evening . Organist , Gilchrist Tyler , and several brethren , lho Lodge Avaa opened in due form with solemn prayer , and tho minutes of tho last Lodgo meeting were read and confirmed . The ballot was taken for Bro . G . H . Gilham of Lodges Nos . 192 and 1 G 32 , it proved unani . mous in his favour , and , being present , ho Avas regularly introduced and advanced into the Order accordinz to ancient form and custom .

The election for W . M . was then proceeded Avith , and Bro . W . T . Christian S . W . was unanimously elected to fill the office for tho ensuing year . The Treasurer , Bro . W . Groome , and the Tyler , Bro . Gilchrist , Avere re-elected to their respective offices . It was proposed , seconded , and carried that Bros . Sheppard , De Metz and Gilham be

tho lay members to serve on the Audit Committee . It Avas proposed by Bro . Christian S . W ., and seconded by Bro . Groome , that tho sum of tAVO guineas be taken from the Lodge Funds to provide a P . M . ' s jewel for Bro . Pinder , for his able and efficient services as first W . M . of tho Lodge . The Lodge was then closed in due form and adjourned until Saturday the 19 th October .

The ballot was taken for Bro . G . H . Gilham of Lodges Nos . 192 and 1 G 32 , it proved unani . mous in his favour , and , being present , ho Avas regularly introduced and advanced into the Order accordinz to ancient form and custom .

The election for W . M . was then proceeded Avith , and Bro . W . T . Christian S . W . was unanimously elected to fill the office for tho ensuing year . The Treasurer , Bro . W . Groome , and the Tyler , Bro . Gilchrist , Avere re-elected to their respective offices . It was proposed , seconded , and carried that Bros . Sheppard , De Metz and Gilham be

tho lay members to serve on the Audit Committee . It Avas proposed by Bro . Christian S . W ., and seconded by Bro . Groome , that tho sum of tAVO guineas be taken from the Lodge Funds to provide a P . M . ' s jewel for Bro . Pinder , for his able and efficient services as first W . M . of tho Lodge . The Lodge was then closed in due form and adjourned until Saturday the 19 th October .
