Railways will grant Single Tickets for the Return Journey on production of the Circular , from Stations ten miles distant from Canterbury . TICKETS for BANQUET , 12 / 6 inclusive , to be obtained at the Ledge Boom , or of Bro . A . H . Pilcher , 1 Parade , Canterbury , any day before the 27 th inst . The following Notices of Motion have been received by the Provincial Grand Secretary . — Grants recommended by tho Charities' Committee . The D . P . G . M . will propose that " £ 126 be given to Benevolent Institution , being £ 63 to Aged Fund and £ 63 to Widows' Fund to constitute D . P . G . M . a Patron . " Bro . W . Russell P . G . Treasurer will propose that " £ 460 be carried foiward to be added to a sum amounting to a total of £ 1 , 260 to purchase a perpetual presentation to the Boys' School . " Bro . W . Russell P . G . Treasurer will propose that " The London and South Western Bank , Limited , be requested to advance to Provincial Grand Lodge , through Mr . William Russell , the Treasurer , ancl on his promissory note a sum not exceeding Eight Hundred Pounds , afc 3 per cent , interest , in order to complete the jmrchase of a perpetual presentation to the Boys ' School , such advance to be repaid by instalments as may be arranged , within a period of two years . "

£ 250 , and then dealt with thirty-seven new cases , which included several which bad been deferred from previous meetings . One was dismissed and three were deferred . The remaining thirty-three were voted a total sum of
£ 835 . One case was recommended to Grand Lodge for £ 100 . Five petitioners were recommended to the Grand Master for £ 40 each , and seven for £ 30 each . Thirteen petitioners were granted £ 20 each , six £ 10 each , and one received £ 5 .

THE House Committee has arranged for a special inspection of the School premises at Battersea Eise on Thursday next , in order , it may be imagined , to
afford the Stewards and other friends of the Boys School who will be in London for the Festival , an opportunity of visiting the sister Institution . The programme is as follows :
2 ' 30 to 3 " 15 Inspection of the Premises . 3-15 to 4 * 15 Calisthenics , Marching , Music and Singing by the Girls . 4-15 Tea , Coffee and Light Refreshments .
Saturday next is set down as the annual" Ex-pupils " day at the School , when it may be expected a large number of the former Girls will visit the scene of their early life , and , let us hope , learn to take further interest in the Institution to which they owe so much .
