PERFECT FRIENDSHIP LODGE , No . 376 . THE anniversary meeting was held afc the Masonio Hall , Ipswich , on the 20 th inst ., when Bro . George Turner was installed W . M .

for the ensuing year . The installation ceremony was most irapressively performed by Bro . Thwaites , after whioh the Worshipfnl Master appointed and invested his Officers for tho ensuing year . The installation banquet followed , at whioh there was a large

attendance of brethren , the Worshipfnl Master presiding . The nsual toasfc list was afterwards submitted . The toast of the R . W . Lord Henniker P . G . M . Suffolk , tbe V . W . Rev . C . J . Martyn P . G . Chaplain D . P . G . M . Suffolk , and the rest of the Officers of . Provincial Grand Lodge Present and Pasfc , was heartily received , the Depnty Provincial Grand Master responding in well-chosen terms , in which he spoke of the happy ties whioh bonnd him to the Province of Snflblk .

After the toast of the Masonio Charities , Bro . Thwaites submitted that of the Worshipful Master . He waa snre no words of bis were needed in commendation of the choice the Lodge had made in appointing Bro . Turner as their Master . He testified to the admirable way in whioh Bro . Turner had carried out the dnties of the various offices he had filled in the Ledge , and by reason of whieh he was

entitled to the prond position he then held . The toasfc was received with full Lodge honours . The Worshipful Master , in reply , feelingly acknowledged the flattering manner in which the toast had been received , and the greafc hononr that had been conferred npon him in making him a Master of the Perfect Friendship Lodge . He looked to the assistance

of the Past Masters , * but at the same time assured the brethren that he would earnestly endeavour to carry out the duties of Master with credit to himself , and , he hoped , with honour to the Lodge . He accepted the fact of the splendid gathering that night as an augury of the success that would attend him through his year of office . He concluded by proposing fche toast of the Installing Master Brother

Thwaites , to whose ability in performing that function he paid an eulogistic tribute . Bro . Thwaites appropriately replied . The other toasts were the Visitors , the Past Masters of the Lodge , the Officers of the Lodge , and the Tyler ' s toast . Bro . C . Cooke presided at the pianoforte as accompanist to the musical brethren .

ST . JAMES'S LODGE , No . 448 . ON Thursday , 14 tb inst ., a social wns held in the Freemasons' Hall , Halifax , nnder the presidency of Bro . R . Hodgson W . M . The affair took the form of a concert in the earlier part of the evening , and afterwards dancing was indulged in . A very acceptable

programme of vocal and instrumental music was gone throngh in capital style , and recitations were given by members of fche Lodge , Bro , George Whitley acting as accompanist in an able manner , and after , wards playing for the dancing , which was kept np nntil one o ' clock .

BELVEDERE LODGE , No . 503 . ON Tuesday , 12 th inst ., the annnal installation was hold at the Freemasons' Hall , Brewer-street , Maidstone , when Brother Wm . Hope was installed as W . M . for the ensuing year . Tho installation ceremony was performed by Bro . Kite , and afterwards the

newly installed Master invested his Officers . Subsequently an adjournment was made to the Star Hotel , where a capital banquet was served by Mr . J . P . Sheather . The W . M . presided , and the usual Masonic toasts were hononred .

TEES LODGE , No . 509 . THE annnal festival was held on Thursday , 7 th inst ., at the Masonic Hall , Stockton , when Bro . A . Jobling S . W ., was installed Worshipfnl Master for the ensuing year in succession to Bro . J . Hague Clegg . The ceremony of installation was performed by Bro . J . Holt P . G . S . D . The newly-created W . M . invested his Officers . In the evening a large number of the brethren dined together in the banqnetting hall .

ST . MARTIN'S LODGE , No . 510 . BRO . R . H . WILLIAMS S . W . has been elected W . M ., Bro . T . Whito P . M . P . P . G . S . of Works was re-elected Treasurer , and Bro . R . Pinwarden Tyler .

NORTH YORK LODGE , No . 602 . THE annual festival and installation was held afc the Freemasons ' HaU , Middlesborongh , on the 8 fch inst ., under the presidency of Bros . Alfred Jones W . M . J . M . Meek P . M . P . P . G . Registrar installed the Worshipfnl Master for the ensuing year , Bro . Wm . Jas . Hanson S . W ., who invested his Officers .

I ^ The banquet was afterwards held afc the Wellington Hotel , the catering of host and hostess , Mr . and Mrs . Scarlett , being mnch appreciated . The customary Loyal and Masonio toasts were honoured .

LONDESBOROUGH LODGE , No . 734 . AT the election meeting , held at Bridlington , Bro . W . Winpenny , Superintendent of Police , was elected Worshipfnl Master for the ensuing year .

FOWEY LODGE , No . 977 . THE members have elected Bro . John Mitchell S . W . as W . M . for the ensuing year , with Bro . J . P . Isbell P . M . Treasnrer , and Bro . W . J . Graham Tyler . The installation and banquet will take place on New Year ' s Day .

KINGSTON LODGE , No . 1010 . THE installation of Bro . J . Wright Mason , M . B ., Medical Officer of Health of Hull , as Worshipfnl Master , took place in the Masonic Hall , Kingston Square , Jarratt Street , Hull , on Wednesday of last

week . There was a large attendance of brethren from other Lodges both in town and country . Bro . H . Woodhonse , LL . D ., the retiring Master performed the ceremony of installation . The Officers were invested , and the installation banquet followed .

STAMFORD LODGE , No . 1045 . ON Monday evening , afc the monthly meeting of this Lodge , held ab the Town Hall , Altrincham , Mr . Coningsby Disraeli , the popular repreaentitive of the Altrincham Division , waa initiated aa a Freemason . Muob regret was expressed on all hands when it became known that Lord Egerton R . W . P . G . M ., who had intended being present , was unable to attend , his daughter ' s health

necessitating a journey to the continent , whither he had accompanied her . The W . M . of the Lodge—Bro . G . F . Smith—performed the initiation ceremony , and the charge to the candidate was impressively delivered by Bro . H . H . Mayor J . W . Subsequently the

evening waa spent in a convivial manner , the nsual Loyal and Masonio toasts being duly honoured . Bro . tho Hon . Alan de Tatton Egerton , M . P ., proposed the toast of the evening—the new initiatein admirable terms , and Bro . Disraeli responded .

LODGE OF TRIUMPH , No . 1061 . THE annnal installation and festival of St . John were held at the Market Hotel , Ly tham , on Thursday , 14 th inst ., Bro . N . Preston W . M . presiding . Bro . Sumner Fisher was installed by Bros . Preston and A . Hall . The address to the Officers was given by Bro . the Rev . It . S . Stoney , fco the Master by Bro . 'Wilson , to the Wardens by

Bro . Hall , and to the brethren generally by Bro . the Rev . W . H Baynes . After the installation tho brethren sat down to dinner , and after wards the nsual Masonio toast list was gone throngh .
