The last time we met afc Halifax I remember was a very melancholy occasion , for on that day we had committed to its lasfc resting place the body of our lato Prov . Grand

Master , Bro . John Wordsworth , ono who we must always remember with feelings of pleasure , for we , as a Province , owe much to his labours dnring the time he was Deputy , and also dnring the six years he was our Prov . Grand Master . It was also a day ever memorable to myself , for ou that day yon decided unanimously to recommend

my namo to the Most Wor . Grand Mark Master as your future Head , a recommendation I trnst you will never regret . I wish personally to thank the brethren of the Fearnley Lodge , No . 58 , for their kind arrangements for our comfort to-day , and also for consenting to hold our meeting in Mav last at Wakefield , afcer I had accepted their

invitation to hold it in Halifax . Since wo last met we have to rejoice that the eldest son of our Most Worshipful Past Grand Master II . R .
