toasts was Prosperity to tho Lodge of Israel Benevolent Fund . During tho evening a largo number of subscriptions wero announced , the result being the addition of a handsome sum to the fnnd . This was received with great cordiality . Tho M . E . Z . responded in his usual happy style , and congratulated

the Comps . on the success of the Chapter . He then proposed the health of his principals , II . and J ., and referred to their great ability and tho assistance he had received from them . The other Officers were also honoured . The proceedings were enlivened by Comp . Isaac , who gave a recitation ; by Comps . Killick , Stock , Griggs , Fenner , ancl Davies , who sang some capital songs . The Janitor ' s toast brought a very pleasant evening to a conclusion .
