We shall be pleased to receive particulars of Masonic meetings for insertion in our columns , and where desired will endeavour to send a representative to report Lodge or other proceedings .

LION AND LAMB LODGE , No . 192 . rpHE installation meeting was held at the Cannon Street Hotel , on I Thursday , 10 th inst ., the only disappointment being the absence of the W . M . Bro . 0 . Garton , owing to the serious illness of his wife . Bro . F . Hughes P . M . filled the breach at very short notice , and installed Bro . William Baker , who then invested his Officers .
WESTBOURNE LODGE , No . 733 . A REGULAR meeting of this Lodge was held at the Holborn Restaurant , on Thursday , 17 th inst ., when there were present Bros . F . Wortham W . M ., 0 . T . Brown I . P . M ., George Weaver S . W ., C . B . Lilley J . W ., 3 . Welford P . M . Treasurer , S . R . Walker P . M . Sec , W . Busby S . D ., H . Bagnall
J . D ., E . Thomas I . G ., Hopkins Organist , F . Beesley Steward , S . Ellis P . M . Tyler . Past Masters R . 3 . Rogers , 0 . A . Cottebrune P . G . P ., 3 . W . Curtis , W . M . Roberts , & c , together with Bros . P . Brock , 3 . Woodford , M . Bookman , G . Butcher , T . Gale , Rolls , Unwin , Norris , G . Goddard , Williams , White , and others .
The Visitors included Bros . G . Mogford P . M . 2362 , Wood P . M . 101 , H . Rolls 1381 , Stelling 2674 , and several others . The Lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed . Bros . Atherton , Tompkins , Matthews , Pemberton , and Gillings were examined , and having answered the questions in a satisfactory manner were entrusted for passing . The W . M . vacated the chair in favour of Bro . C . T .
Brown I . P . M ., who opened the Lodge in the second degree , and these five Brethren were admitted , and in due course passed to the second degree in Freemasonry , the ceremony being rendered with Bro . Brown ' s usual ability . The W . M . having again taken his chair , resumed the Lodge to the first degree , and Mr . Joseph Joseph was presented as a candidate , the ballot having been taken and proved unanimous in his favour . This gentleman was duly initiated into the mysteries of ancient Freemasonry .
Three gentlemen were proposed for initiation at the nest meeting , and some other transactions being disposed of , tho Lodge was closed , and the Brethren retired to the banqueting room , where an excellent repast was provided under the personal supervision of Bro . Hamp . The cloth being removed , the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were presented and honoured .
In proposing tha toast of the initiate , the W . M . expressed his gratification that such a candidate should have been added to the Craft . Bro . Joseph Joseph responded in an excellently conceived speech . During the evening several Brethren added to the enjoyment of the company with their musical talent , Bro . Hopkins presiding at the piano .
NEW CONCORD LODGE , No . 813 . THE 35 th installation meeting of this prosperous Lodge took place on Thursday , 17 th inst ., at the Guildhall Tavern , Gresham Street , E . C , under the presidency of Bro . John Ingram Moar W . M ., who was supported by Bros . George Simpson W . M .-elect S . W ., R . Clarke J . W ., C . I . Stevens Chaplain , H . J . Gabb P . M . Moar delivered the addresses , with the greatest precision and impressivenesa .
Other Masonic business having been transacted , the Lodge was closed , and the Brethren adjourned to the banqueting room , where an excellent banquet was served under the personal supervision of Bro . J . W . Terry , the manager of the establishment . After the Loyal toasts , Bro .. Moar I . P . M . proposed the health of the W . M ., referring to his past work as a criterion for the future conduct of the Lodge , to which Bro . Simpson suitably responded .
The toast of the Masonic Charities was given by the W . M ., and responded to by Bro . Moar , who said that ho was going up as Steward for the Boys , and hoped that the Lodge and Brethren would help him ; he was pleased to announce later that his list realised nearly £ 50 . The toast of the Treasurer and Secretary was responded to by Bro . Potter , who gave a resume of the year ' s successful work . The toast of thc Visitors was responded to by Bro . Simpson , father of the W . M ,, and others .

Harrison Brockbank ( who was tbe same afternoon one of the jury in ,: Trial by Jury " at Nellie Farren ' s benefit ) , Bro . Fred Russell , Mr . A . J . Manyer , Miss May Potter ( violin ) . Mr . Philip A . Henry was at the piano .
WHITTINGTON LODGE , No . 862 . AN ordinary meeting was held on Monday , 21 st inst ., at Freemasons ' Hall , Bro . H . Kemp presiding . The Worshipful Master passed Bro . John Browning to the second degree , and afterwards initiated Mr . Richard Hawkins Wynne . Later in the evening the Worshipful Master announced that he would
hold an emergency meeting of the Lodge on the third Monday in April , for the purpose of raising Bro . Browning , and passing Bro . Wynne . There being no further business before the Brethren the Lodge was closed , and an adjournment took place to the Freemasons' Tavern , where a well appointed dinner was enjoyed . The usual toasts met with the customary loyal , hearty , and fraternal reception .
Bro . T . H . T . Jarvis Immediate Past Master proposed the health of tbe Worshipful Master , referring particularly to the fact that that was the last occasion but one on which Bro . Kemp would occupy the Master ' s chair at the banquet table of the Whittington Lodge . They all knew , he added , how admirably he had discharged his duties since he had occupied the dignified position of Master of the Lodge .
Bro . Kemp replied , thanking the Brethren for the support they had extended to him during the year . The toast of the Initiate was responded to by Bro . Wynne , who expressed the hope that , having entered the Order , an honour to which he had always aspired , he should become a true Brother among Masons .
u < - > U LODGE OF PERSEVERANCE , No . 1743 . rpHE ladies' entertainment of this Lodge was held on Saturday , 12 th inst ., JL at Anderton ' s Hotel , under tbe Mastership of Bro . Harry Watts . Everyone was presented with a beautiful button-hole of flowers , in addition to which each lady received a bottle of scene , enclosed in a pretty box , says the " City Press . "
Following dinner a brief list of toasts were honoured . Bro . H . 0 . Lonsdale I . P . M . proposed , in felicitous terms , the health of tho Worshipful Master , remarking that his able presidency caused them all to regret that his year of office would shortly draw to a close . Bro . Watts W . M ., in responding , said he felt he had not done so well as
he ought to have done , but still he had done bis best . That night was so successful that he felt very proud of being the W . M . of the Perseverance Lodge . He had h < id a most prosperous year , aud every Brother of the Lodge had been most kind to him , while if it had not been for Bro . Lonsdale he believed that he should not have been able to do the work of the Lodge .
DUKE OF FIFE LODGE , No . 2345 . THE members of this Lodge held their Annual Festival on Wednesday , 16 th inst ., at the Alexandra Hotel , Clapham , and scored an unqualified success . The ninth Master was duly installed with full honours , the large installing Board testifying to the popularity , kindness of heart , and good fellowship of Bro . T . Morris . There was absolute harmony , earnest sympathetic work , as well as quiet calmness in the whole event ; everyone knowing that this Lodge , which has been so successful in the past , was again to be placed under the most skilled management .

The Lodge having been duly opened , the minutes were read and confirmed , when Bro . T . Morris was presented by Bro . Woods for the benefit of installation . Bro . John Mitchell then proceeded in a masterly manner with the ceremony . After the installation Bro . Morris invested the following Officers : Bros . Robertson S . W ., Winney J . W ., Steele P . M . Treas ., Folkard P . M . Sec , Westley P . M . D . C , Mitchell S . D ., C J . Fitch J . D ., A . Machin P . M . I . G ., G . Taylor A . D . C , C . Woods P . M ., F . J . Beckwith , and F . W . The Installing Master then delivered the addresses in a most touching and earnest manner .
Bro . H . L . Mitchell moved the adoption of the report of the Audit Committee , Bro . S . Cochrane P . G . T . seconded , and ic was unanimously accepted . On the motion of Bro . C Woods P . M . Std ., seconded by Bro . Westley P . M . D . C , it was unanimously resolved to place ten guineas on the list of Bro . Harvey P . M ., who is a Steward for the Boys Festival .
Bro . Langdon P . M . gave a notice of motion , and three candidates were proposed .
All Masonic business being ended , and the Lodge closed , the Brethren enjoyed a , capital dinner , under the presidency of the new Master . Having done justice to the good things provided by the host , the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were submitted by Bro . Morris , aud were well received . Bro . S . Cochrane P . G . T . made a most felicitous reply for the Grand Officers , pointing out the good work done by the Board of General Purposes , as well as the Grand Officers .
Bro . J . Mitchell I . P . M . proposed the W . M . —than whom no better Mason , nor better man could be found ; he would do honour to the Lodge that had given him his high office . Courteous , able , genial , and generous , he Would always live in their memories as " one of the best . " Bro . Morris W . M . suitably responded . He had learnt something already of the dignity and responsibility of his Office . He expected , with their generous support , a capital year .
The W . M . proposed the Installing Master , and in the name of the Lodge presented him a Past Master ' s jewel . Their eighth Master had been a complete success , his memory would ever live in their hearts .

The Installing Master then delivered the addresses in a most touching and earnest manner .
Bro . H . L . Mitchell moved the adoption of the report of the Audit Committee , Bro . S . Cochrane P . G . T . seconded , and ic was unanimously accepted . On the motion of Bro . C Woods P . M . Std ., seconded by Bro . Westley P . M . D . C , it was unanimously resolved to place ten guineas on the list of Bro . Harvey P . M ., who is a Steward for the Boys Festival .
Bro . Langdon P . M . gave a notice of motion , and three candidates were proposed .
All Masonic business being ended , and the Lodge closed , the Brethren enjoyed a , capital dinner , under the presidency of the new Master . Having done justice to the good things provided by the host , the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were submitted by Bro . Morris , aud were well received . Bro . S . Cochrane P . G . T . made a most felicitous reply for the Grand Officers , pointing out the good work done by the Board of General Purposes , as well as the Grand Officers .
Bro . J . Mitchell I . P . M . proposed the W . M . —than whom no better Mason , nor better man could be found ; he would do honour to the Lodge that had given him his high office . Courteous , able , genial , and generous , he Would always live in their memories as " one of the best . " Bro . Morris W . M . suitably responded . He had learnt something already of the dignity and responsibility of his Office . He expected , with their generous support , a capital year .
The W . M . proposed the Installing Master , and in the name of the Lodge presented him a Past Master ' s jewel . Their eighth Master had been a complete success , his memory would ever live in their hearts .
