subscriptions similarly voted the total amount was bronght up to 315 guineas . They had also purchased new regalii , aud incurred other minor expenses , so that the balance in hand at tlw last Audit maeting stood at £ 53 13 s 7 d , this he thought was very satisfactory , showing that they thought of the Charities first , and their creature
comforts afterwards . Their esteemed S . W ., Bro . J . C . Gross , was going np as a Steward at the approaching Festival for tho Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , and they were pledged to him for 10 guineas to his list , which sum he booed would be substantially augmented by

The Secretary read a letter from the Prov . Grand Secretary , informing the Lodgo that a grant of £ 10 10 s had been awarded to the Grey Friars Lodge , No ,
1101 , from the Chanty Fund , and wishing to be informed to which of the Masonic Charities the Lodge would like the grant appropriated ; also informing the members that the Charity Committee had adopted the cases of Widow Leaver and Widow Ford for the Royal Masonio Benevolent Institution . Bro . E . Margrett P . M . proposed , and Bro .
J . H . Hawke * I . P . M . seconded , that tho Prov . Grand Lodge grant ot £ 10 10 s be added to the Worshipful Master ' s list , as Steward to the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Festival on 26 th Feb . ; this was carried .
