A MASONIC Service will be held at the Kingsland Congregational Church , High Street , Kingsland , tomorrow ( Sunday ) evening , at 7 o'clock . The service is given under the banner of the Clissold Lodge , No . 2661 , of which Bro . Alfred H . Cooper is Master . A dispensation having been granted by Grand Lodge , the Brethren will appear in

Masonic clothing , for which purpose they will assemble in the Lecture Hall , at 6 . 30 . Bro . James Terry P . G . S . B . has kindly promised to act as Director of Ceremonies . The sermon will be preached by the Rev . William Whittley Past

Grand Deacon and Past Grand Chaplain ot the rrovince 01 Devonshire , and the musical arrangements will be undertaken by Bro . Arthur Briscoe P . Prov . Grand Organist Surrey . A collection will be made on behalf of the Church Funds , which stand in great need of help .

elsewhere of the work performed during the past fifty years by the West Lancashire Masonic Educational Institution , one prominent feature in connection with which is that , since its establishment , no child whose claims were

wellfounded has ever been refused admission to the benefits of the Institution , and further , that no official charge of any kind has ever been necessary , the entire management of the scheme being purely voluntary .

The Committee recommend that the removal of these Chapters be sanctioned . A Memorial , with particulars , has been received from Companions Henry Sinclair as Z , John Moore Smith as H , Albert Govier as J , and the members of the Temperance-in-the-East Chapter , for a Charter of Confirmation , the original Charter having been lost .

A Memorial has also been received from Companions William . Henry Pinney as Z , Frederick William Moass as H , Richard Southwood as J , and the Members of the Virtue Chapter , No . 494 , Axminster , for a Charter of Confirmation , the original Charter having been lost . The Committee being satisfied of the reasonableness of the requests , recommend that these Charters of Confirmation be respectively granted .

No . 1201 , & o : — That Grand Chapter be asked to sanction a Gold Braid or Chain to be attached to tbe Red Collars of Past First Grand Principals or Installed First Principals , after the same manner as Grand Lodge has sanctioned the Silver Braid on Installed Masters '
