We are pleased beyond measure to find that tbe Board of General Purposes consider it " as mucb a duty as a pleasure " to recommend tbat a gratuity of 150 guineas bo paid to Bro . H . G . Buss , Assistant Grand Secretary , for his services during the illness and absenco of the Past

consideration be exhibits towards all who are brought in contact with him . This recommendation , therefore , from tbe Board comes most gracefully from them , who have had especial opportunities of judging of his worth . We do not doubt that Grand Lodge will adopt the Board's

recommendation unanimously and with acclamation . Nor do we for our part regret in the slightest degree that so favourable an occasion has presented itself for offering our bumble testimony as to the value of Bro . Buss's Masonic services as Assistant and Acting Grand Secretary , and in other capacities .
