Next Week.
We desire to draw the attention of our Manchester subscribers and others who may be likely to visit that city to the concluding paragraph in our report of the Instruction Lodge , No . 581 . The formation of an Installed Masters Lodge for rehearsal of that important ceremony , which every enthusiastic Master is desirous of performing on behalf of his successor , must necessarily supply a great want . That it is likely to be a success
goes without saying , especially as the fee to members of the Instruction Lodge is only 2 s 6 d per year , and the night of meeting is so arranged as not to interfere with other Lodges . We learn that at the preliminary meeting , mentioned elsewhere , there were nresent a dozen Past Masters , and half that number
of Acting Masters , who were all in hearty accord with the movement . We regard the proposal as a splendid method of securing uniformity in this important ceremony , and it might well be imitated in other large Masonic centres .
