25 No Mason wtsoever shall take an apprentice to Serve for any Less Term than Seven Years Compleat without any Deceipt or Antedateing his Indentures & not unless the said Apprentice be able of Birth ffree Born of Good Kindred true and be whole in bis Limbs as a man ought to be .
26 No Mason shall take an Apprentice unless he have sufficient Occupation or Work to imploy him in And have two or three more fellows at Least . 27 No Masons shall put any Lords or other persons Work to task that was wont to Go Journey Work .
28 Every Mastr Mason shall be Ready to give pay to his fl ' ellows No otherwise then as he or they may deserve , so y t there may be no deceit by false Workmen . 29 Every Mason shall be true to the Lords or Masters he Serveth and truely Serve him for his pay to his Best prfitt and advantage .
30 No Mason shall be a Thief or Thevish , or a Companion of Thieves , so fan- forth aa he may Witt and . Know . 31 No Mason shall do any wrong or Villany in the place where he Boardeth and Lodgeth , but shall behave himself Civilly and pay Honestly for his Meat , drink , and Lodgeing , and all other Charges that he ought to pay .
32 Every Master Mason and ffellow shall truely make an End of his work Let it either be Task-Work or Jonrney-Work if you have your Covenant and all that you onghfc to have . These be the Charges that Prince Edwin or Edgar Made at his
Assembly held at York , which he Ordained to be Observed for Ever . The Said Prince at his Assembly made Masons and Swore them to the Observation of these Charges , which since His Time have been always Given to Masons when they were admitted and made . THE ADMONITION TO Y * OLD MASONS AFTER YE READING YE CHARGES .
Every Man that is a Mason , either Mastr Fellow or Brother in ye Science take Right good-heed to these Charges And if any of you find himself Guilty and to have Transgressed any of these Charges y t he amend himself to God and do so no more . Then let the prson w ° li is to be made a Mason chuse out of the
Lodge any one Mason who is to Instruct him in those Secrets wch must never be Committed to Writeing Which Mason he must alway Call his Tutor then let the Tutor take him into another Room and shew him all the whole Mistery that at his return he may Exercise "wth the rest of his fellow Masons .

A silver casket was presented to His Royal Highness the Duke of Albany , Provincial Grand Master of Oxfordshire , by the brethren of that Province , on the occasion of his marriage . The casket is of Gothic design , in silver , partially gilt , and . placed on an ebony stand . The front
panel shows , in raised enamel , the Grand Master ' s collar and jewel ; on the reverse , His Royal Highness ' s Arms , & c . At each corner is placed the Royal snpporters , and the casket is surmounted by the coronet of His Royal Highness resting on a cushion . At each end is a raised medallion , with inscriptions as follow : —
" Presented to H . R . H . the Duke of Albany , K . G ., Right Worshipful Provincial Grand M . aater of Oxfordshire . " "On his marriage , by his brethren in the Province . A . L , 5882 . "
The execution of this work was entrusted to Messrs . Ortner and Houle , Designers to Her Majesty the Queen , His Royal Highness the Prince of Walus , & c , and has been carried out by this eminent firm in a highly artistic and satisfactory way .

A QUARTERLY Convocation of the Supreme Grand Chapter will be held at Freemasons' Hall , London on "Wednesday , the 3 rd of May next , at six o ' clock in the evening . The Regulations for the Government of the Supreme Grand Chap , ter during the time of public bnsiness , to be read . The Minutes of the last Quarterly Convocation to be read for confirmation .
Installation of Principals , and appointment and investiture of Officers for the ensuing year . The report of the Committee of General Purposes ( as follows ) will be submitted to the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Aroh Masons of England . The Committee of General Purposes beg to report that they have examined the accounts from the 18 th January to the 18 th April 1882 , both inclusive , which they find to be as follows : —

2 nd . From Companions John Greenlaw Forbes as Z ., William R . Barry as H ., the Rev . Edmund Jermyn as J ., and nine others for a Chapter to be attached to the Kumaon Lodge , No . 1870 , Nynee Tal , to be called " The Gabriel Chapter , " and to meet at Nynee Tal , Bengal , in the East Indies .

Adatnes as H ., Thomas Good as J ., and seventeen others for a Chapter to be attached to the Landporfc Lodge , No . 1776 , Landport , to be called " The Landport Chapter , " and to meet at the Freemasons' Hall , Commercial-road , Landport , Hants .

From Companions John Straker Wilson as Z ., Richard Eynon as H ., John Braithwaite as J ., and six others for a Chapter to be attached to the Gosforth Lodge , No . 1664 , Gosforth , to be called " The Gosforth Chapter , " and to meet at the Freemasons' Hall , Gosforth , in the County of Northumberland . 5 th . From Companions Arthur Bott Cook , as Z ., Edgar Alexander Baylis as H ., Alfred Cooper as J ., and seven others for a Chapter to be attached to the Stndholme Lodge , No . 1591 , London , to be called "The Stndholme Chapter , " and to meet ab 33 Golden-sqnare , London .
