JORDAN LODGE , No . 319 . THE annual meeting was held at the Masonio Hall , Torquay , on Thursday , 20 th inst ., Bro . W . Hersey W . M . in the chair . Bro . S . Wills J . W . was ably installed W . M . for the ensuing year by Bro .

John Lane P . G . S . O . England , and afcerwards appointed his Officers . The annual meeting of the Royal Ark Mariners Lodge followed , at which Bro . Lane enthroned Bro . W . Hersey as W . C . N , for the ensuing year , the Officers being also appointed .

The Brethren subsequently adjourned to the refectory , where refreshments were served by Bro . Ridson .

ST . ALBANS LODGE , No . 344 . THE members had their annual excursion on Thursday of last week . The party , exceeding sixty in number , proceeded by railway to Harby . From the station the party were conveyed by the delightful route through the woods to Belvoir Castle . On the terrace the Brethren and their friends were

p hotographed by Bro Caldwell . Special privileges were accorded by the Duchess for the inspection of the castle . A substantial meal was partaken of at the Peacock . Afterwards the gardens and mausoleum wore visited . The return journey was made by way of Harby and Stathern .

Presentation At Chatham.

PRESENTATION AT CHATHAM .

ON Tuesday of last week , says the " Rochester Journal , " there was a large gathering at Portland Arms , Otway Street , Chatham , who took part in an interesting presentation . Mr . W . H . Atkinson , who has retired from business , reached on Tuesday his jubilee birthday , and a number of friends , headed by Mr . A . W . F . Marshall , seized the opportunity of making him some acknowledgment for the various good turns he had served those who sought his aid . The presentation was made by Councillor James Kent , who

was in the chair , and consisted of Masonic Jewels , a pair of gold solitaires and an illuminated address . In making the presentation Councillor Kent referred in touching terms to the many acts of kindness which Mr . Atkinson had done . Mr . Atkinson , who was considerably affected , thanked the donors . A pleasant evening was afterwards spent in toast and song , Mr . Marshall filling the vice chair .

After providing for the amortization of leases , depreciation of plant , sinking fund for the redemption of Debentures and the payment of Debenture Interest , the report of Spiers and Pond Limited recommends tho payment of a dividend of 10 per cent ., less income tax , for the year ending the 31 st March 1895 , leaving £ 3 , 527 15 s ld to be carried forward to next year . The warrants will bo posted after the shareholders' meeting , to be held on the 8 th July . The share transfer books are closed from the 24 th June to the 8 th July , both inclusive .
