ROYAL MASONIC INSTITUTION FOR GIRLS .

WE are pleased to be able to announce that the Eight Hon . Lord Llangattock Provincial Grand Master of South Wales ( Eastern Division ) has most kindly consented to preside at the 109 th Anniversary Festival of this Institution , to be held in May next , Wednesday , the 12 th of that month ( the usual day ) having been now definitely fixed for the celebration .

It is announced that Bro . James Terry P . G . Sword Bearer Secretary of the Eoyal Masonic Benevolent Institution has kindly consented to rehearse the ceremonies of Consecration and Installation at the Citadel Lodge of Instruction , No . 1897 , at the Farleigh Hotel , Amhurst Eoad , Stoke Newington , on one of the

Friday evenings of March next , when we venture to predict there will be a large assemblage . Bro . Terry long ago scored his " century " in the position of Consecrating Officer , and in addition has frequently rehearsed the work in different Instruction Lodges ,

so that he not only has his natural ability to recommend his work , but also continued practice . We advise any Brother who has not seen Bro . Terry in this role to arrange to attend the meeting , details of which may be had of Bro . Harry Willsmer ( Secretary ) , at the Lodge quarters .

The fifth annual Smoking Concert of " Ye Olde Friends , " organised by the Managers of Messrs . Spiers and Pond , Limited , will take place at the Freemasons' Tavern , Great Queen Street , on Friday , 12 th February next , commencing at 8 p . m ., under the presidency of Mr . Eobert G . Barber . The surplus of the fourth

Concert enabled the Committee to give a " tea , entertainment , and gifts " to 300 poor children , and we are sure our readers will join us in the wish that the coming one may be equally successful . Further information may be obtained of the Hon . Sec , Mr . H . Cross , Mansion House Station , E . C .
