and others . The fourth Friday in eaoh month is , in this Lodge of Instrnction , placed at the disposal of the Preceptor , and on this occasion Bro . Stevens selected the working of the Sections in the First Degree for the business of the evening . The " work " was eminently satisfactory , aud gave much satisfaction to the members present . A vote of thanks to Bro . T . Poore for his attendance and valuable assistance was recorded on the minutes . The W . M . stated his intention to rehearse the Ceremony of Installation on the following Friday evening , the

29 th inst ., placing Bro . Poore in the chair of K . S . He also , as Preceptor , and by request of several brethren , intimated that , on the fourth Friday in October , the 27 th , the F . C . and M . M . seotions would be worked in full . Thanks were voted to the " section workers " of the evening . The Lodge was olosed in perfect harmony aud adjourned .

Panmure Lodge of Instruction , No . 720 . —There was a large attendance of members at the meeting of this Lodge of Instruction , at the Balham Hotel , Balham , on Wednesday evening last , about thirty brethren being assembled to hear the excellent working of Bro . Thomas Poore P . M . as Installing Master . The Lodge was opened in tbe several degrees , and the full ceremony of installation was rehearsed , Bro . Lilley W . M . of the Stuart Lodge , being the

candidate W . M . elect . Several Past Masters assisted , and formed a large Board of I . M . 's . Bro . James Stevens P . M . officiated as M . C . In the course of the evening the Lodge was called off for slight refreshment , and resumed labour ; and , after closing , an agreeable hour was spent in harmony , the brethren separating about ten o ' clock , muoh pleased with the Masonio treat whioh had been afforded them .

Hammond S . W . was elected W . M . for next meeting . Bro . Moss proposed , and Bro . I . P . Cohen seconded , that a vote of thanks be recorded on the

minutes for the able manner in whioh Bro . Chitson had worked the ceremony , for the first time in this Lodge . This was carried unanimonsly . Bro . Barnes proposed that Bro . D . Moss be elected Preceptor . This was seconded by Bro . Stewart , and snpported by Bro . I . P . Cohen , who bore testimony to the zeal and ability of Bro . Mo 3 S .
