Prosperity Lodge of Instruction , No . 65 . —A meeting was held on Tuesday , 27 th inst ., at Bro . Maidwell's , Hercules Tavern , Leadenhall-street . Present—Bros . Dyson W . M ., Sainte S . W ., Walker ( Secretary ) J . W ., Weil S . D ., Steed I . G . ; also Broa . Maidwell , Webb , A . Mitchell , Haynes . Lodge having been opened in due form and the minntes read , the W . M . rehearsed the ceremony

of initiation , Bro . A . Mitchell candidate . It was proposed and seconded that a vote of thanks shonld bo recorded on the minntes for the admirable raannner in whioh Bro . Dyson fulfilled tho duties of W . M . for the first time . This was carried nnanimously . Bro . Sainte was elected W . M . for the ensning meeting . It was proposed and

seconded that this meeting be adjourned till Tuesday , 10 th Jane , in consequence of the Whitsuntide holidays . This also waa carried . This being the meeting night of the Second Prosperity Charity Association , the brethren proceeded to ballot for a Ten Guinea Governorship , which resulted in favour of Bro . Charles Holland , J . W . Strawberry-hill Lodge , No . 946 .

Percy Lodge of Instruction , No . 198 . —The weekly meeting was held ou Saturday , at Bro . Langdale ' s , the Jolly Farmers ' , Southgate-road . Broa . Cross W . M ., Tnrner S . W ., Giller J . W ., and a fair attendance of members . After the reading and confirming of the minutes , the first section of the Lecture was worked by Bro . Cohen , the Preceptor . The rehearsal of the ceremony of initiation followed ,

Bro . Richardson candidate ; then the ceremony of passing , Bro . Fenner candidate . Both ceremonies were rehearsed in a very careful manner by the W . M . Lodge was closed to the first , and Bro . Turner was elected W . M . for the ensuing week . Bro . A . W . Tnrner , P . M . 1693 , will rehearse the ceremony of installation this ( Saturday ) evening , when he hopes to have a numerous attendance of the brethren . Lodge opens at eight punctually .

fleadon Lodge , No . 619 . —A meeting of this Lodge waa held on Wednesday , 21 st inst ., at the Greyhound Hotel , Dulwich . After opening the Lodge , Bro . Forge the W . M . raised , in a most impressive manner , Bros . Hayden of the William Preston Lodge , and Ferguson of John Carpenter Lodge , to the third degree . After the closing of the Lodge the members and visitors sat down to a neatly-served

dinner . Among the visitors were Bros . Hawkins P . M . 1693 , Hayden , Ferguson , Western W . M . elect 1693 , Woodman S . W . 1950 , Rhodes 1524 , Gnrney , Dale , Collings Organist 1693 , and Townley 201 . During the evening songs , & o ., were given by' Bros . Townley , Woodman , Hawkins , Ferguson . The meeting was a very snecessful one , the genial presidency of Bro . Forge adding to the enjoyment of all .

Finsbury Lodge of Instruction , No . 881 . —Held at the King and Queen , Norton Folgate , B . C ., on 28 th May . Bros . Pitt W . M ., Legg S . W ., Byott J . W ., Gieseke S . D ., Pinder Preceptor , Serjeant I . G ., Millington Secretary , A . Clark Treasnrer , and Batchelor , Lodge opened in due form , and minutes of last meeting read

and confirmed . Lodge was opened in the second degree . Bro . Bat . chelor answered the questions leading to the third degree , and was entrusted . Lodge was opened in the third degree . The ceremony of raising was rehearsed , Bro . Batchelor candidate . Lodge was closed in the second degree . Bro . Serjeant was elected W . M . for the ensuing week . Lodge was then closed .

Dalhousie Lodge of Instruction , No . 860 . —On Tuesday last , at Bro . Smyth's , Sisters' Tavern , Pownall-road , Dalston . Present : —Bros . Wardell WM ., Baker S . W ., Smyth J . W ., T . dark S . After preliminaries , the ceremony of the second degree was

Prosperity Lodge of Instruction , No . 65 . —A meeting was held on Tuesday , 27 th inst ., at Bro . Maidwell's , Hercules Tavern , Leadenhall-street . Present—Bros . Dyson W . M ., Sainte S . W ., Walker ( Secretary ) J . W ., Weil S . D ., Steed I . G . ; also Broa . Maidwell , Webb , A . Mitchell , Haynes . Lodge having been opened in due form and the minntes read , the W . M . rehearsed the ceremony

of initiation , Bro . A . Mitchell candidate . It was proposed and seconded that a vote of thanks shonld bo recorded on the minntes for the admirable raannner in whioh Bro . Dyson fulfilled tho duties of W . M . for the first time . This was carried nnanimously . Bro . Sainte was elected W . M . for the ensning meeting . It was proposed and

seconded that this meeting be adjourned till Tuesday , 10 th Jane , in consequence of the Whitsuntide holidays . This also waa carried . This being the meeting night of the Second Prosperity Charity Association , the brethren proceeded to ballot for a Ten Guinea Governorship , which resulted in favour of Bro . Charles Holland , J . W . Strawberry-hill Lodge , No . 946 .

Percy Lodge of Instruction , No . 198 . —The weekly meeting was held ou Saturday , at Bro . Langdale ' s , the Jolly Farmers ' , Southgate-road . Broa . Cross W . M ., Tnrner S . W ., Giller J . W ., and a fair attendance of members . After the reading and confirming of the minutes , the first section of the Lecture was worked by Bro . Cohen , the Preceptor . The rehearsal of the ceremony of initiation followed ,

Bro . Richardson candidate ; then the ceremony of passing , Bro . Fenner candidate . Both ceremonies were rehearsed in a very careful manner by the W . M . Lodge was closed to the first , and Bro . Turner was elected W . M . for the ensuing week . Bro . A . W . Tnrner , P . M . 1693 , will rehearse the ceremony of installation this ( Saturday ) evening , when he hopes to have a numerous attendance of the brethren . Lodge opens at eight punctually .

fleadon Lodge , No . 619 . —A meeting of this Lodge waa held on Wednesday , 21 st inst ., at the Greyhound Hotel , Dulwich . After opening the Lodge , Bro . Forge the W . M . raised , in a most impressive manner , Bros . Hayden of the William Preston Lodge , and Ferguson of John Carpenter Lodge , to the third degree . After the closing of the Lodge the members and visitors sat down to a neatly-served

dinner . Among the visitors were Bros . Hawkins P . M . 1693 , Hayden , Ferguson , Western W . M . elect 1693 , Woodman S . W . 1950 , Rhodes 1524 , Gnrney , Dale , Collings Organist 1693 , and Townley 201 . During the evening songs , & o ., were given by' Bros . Townley , Woodman , Hawkins , Ferguson . The meeting was a very snecessful one , the genial presidency of Bro . Forge adding to the enjoyment of all .
