OLIVER , in testimony of the high regard in which his merits are held by the great bulk of the Inhabitants of Wolverhampton , and of the spirit of sincerity in which they sympathise with him at this juncture , beg to inform the public that they ( the Churchwardens ) are ready to receive Contributions , and that Subscription Books are also opened at Ma . The Churchwardens cannot allow this opportunity to pass , without congratulating the proposers of this design upon their zeal to do honour to the excellent Incumbent of their Parish ; and without also congratulating their fellow-townsmen generally , that such an opportunity occurs for presenting one solid testimony to the esteem and attachment of an unbiassed public , in successful opposition to the machinations of those who factiously seek to prejudice the character of a meritorious Christian Minister .
