Gloucester and Berkeley Canal Company . The deceased was in the employment of this company for eighteen years ; and he was for thirtytwo years in the Royal South Gloucester Militia , in which regiment he was a sergeant . He was a Past Grand Master of the Orange Lodge , an ancient and modern Mason , an Odd Fellow , and a Druid ; and few men have died more generally respected . He has left behind him a very large number of descendants .
