Bro . CRUCEFIX rose and stated , that although fully prepared to enter on the subject in conformity with his declaration at the last Grand Lodge ; yet , having received communications from some Provincial Grand Masters , requesting the postponement of the motion until next December , he very cheerfully acquiesced , and the more especially from the implied understanding that such course woulcl be more agreeable to tbe Grancl Master , whose wishes , whenever possible to meet ,
were viewed by him as a moral direction . Of such deep importance was the subject , that liowever certain he felt of its being carried that evening , he considered it more respectful to abide the attendance of a greater number of Provincial Brethren than were then present . He ( Dr . C . ) therefore withdrew the notice of motion . J Bro . D . MOORE protested against the withdrawal of the motion , having come to London expressly to attend its discussion .
