The chairman in a very elaborate address called the meeting to the existing state of the institution , and requested their opinion as to the propriety of bringing the subject before the Grand Lod ^ e , whereon the following resolution was unanimously adopted . " That this meeting do consider it advisable to bring the question of the Aged Mason ' s Asylum before the Grand Lodge , and accordingly resolve , that the sub-committee shall take thejiecessary steps to effect this object as soon as they can do so effectually . "
