CONSECRATION OP THE BISHOP OP OXFORD . —The consecration of the newly-appointed Bishop of Oxford , Dr . AVilberforce , late Archdeacon of Surrey , took place in the private chapel of the Archbishop of Canterbury , at the Palace , Lambeth . The ceremony was performed by his grace , assisted by the Bishops of London , AVinchester , and Salisbury . Prayers were read by the Rev .
