The lodge was then closed , and the brethren adjourned to the banquet , which was capitally served by Bro . Mella and assistants . The customary toasts were duly honoured and a most agreeable evening was spent .

At the close of the business the brethren sat down to a banquet admirably supplied by Bro . W . Viall , at the White Hart Hotel . After dinner the usual loyal and Masonic toast list was gone through . Bro . Cock , in replying to the toast of " The Prov . Grand Master and the Officers of Provincial Grand Lodge , ' ? complimented the brethren of the lodge
for the manner in which they welcomed the Provincial Grand Lodge this year . Bro . Vivian , in responding , said he was proud of the collar conferred upon him , but still more proud of the good feeling which marked the meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge . The toast of "The W . M . " was suitably proposed by
Bro . Vine , and cordially responded to . Bro . Rodda next submitted the toast of "The I . P . M ., " complimenting him upon the able manner in which he had carried out his duties . The toast of " The Visitors" was submitted by Bro .
